The grounds were very pretty and right on the water with great views and a lot of space for the kids and dogs to stretch their legs. I would definitely recommend a stay here. "

I will run out of room for all the ways it's wonderful- QUIET, SUCH a cute theme carried out to the smallest details, every amenity you can imagine such as washer/dryer, hot tub, pond with paddle boats (when there's rain) walking trails, even phone holders next to the bed and goats to feed! "I called on my way to the hotel late the night of the check in to be sure their ice machine was working. The lady said "no but I can get you some ice in the lobby when you check in". Literally I was there 15 minutes later (was going to buy ice on the way). Being an older person I asked if she had a room on the first floor. She had a very bad attitude when answering and started lecturing me "that's not what you reserved". A simple polite no would have been fine. After I checked in and When it was time for the ice she would only give me ONE of those little plastic cups of ice. I WOULD HAVE SETTLED FOR 2 CUPS ---BUT NO---ONE CUP ONLY. I LEFT! How any reputable company could have such a horrible person representing their entire establishment is very sad. BTW I never leave negative reviews but you the traveler and the management needs to know this info."
