Beautiful charming room with a very comfortable bed. Great ocean view. checkin was easy at the restaurant and we were able to make a dinner reservation on the spot. the only negative was that we had a very loud talking neighbour and could hear every word of her conversation. I believe that these beautiful old buildings just aren't very sound proof. Would absolutely stay again.

Excellent stay

Such a nice little hotel - and what a wonderful harbour-view we had from our great apartment. Well equipped kitchen, big bathroom and a very friendly staff from the Deli and Inn which is located on the first floor gave us a warm welcome. Thank you!

There is no AC, you can open the windows but expect to be woken by early morning traffic. Restaurant was really good. Location and view, spectacular. Full view of Bluenose while you are sweating out the night. Very limited breakfast options in town.

The cutest room we have stayed at! Beautiful view of the ocean. Decorated lovely. We are sad now that we checked into a chain hotel and wish we were back above the salt shaker! If you haven’t booked it yet, DO IT!!

Our stay at Salt Shaker Deli & Inn was very nice, and we would recommend it. Check-in at the restaurant was easy. The apartment was spacious and had a lovely view of the water, a large jacuzzi tub, and a small but workable kitchen. The Inn is conveniently located near the main dock, and we easily found parking. The room was very clean. One thing to be aware of is that there is a steep flight of stairs to get to the rooms. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the adjacent restaurant, which is happy to reserve a table for guests staying at the Inn.

Great place to stay!

Room was very cozy, and had a beautiful view. The bed was extremely comfortable and I’d love to know where they got the pillows lol. Overall happy with my stay, great location and the food offer was outstanding, staff was also very friendly.

Loved staying at the Salt shaker. It is located close to the harbour and to restaurants and amenities. It is a historical property and there are stairs to the rooms, but they are comfortable. The bedroom was tastefully decorates and the bed was lovely and comfortable

This is a great inn located on the waterfront and easy walking distance to everything. We had a view and an ocean breeze which cooled our room. We ate at the downstairs restaurant, which offers delicious meals. We highly recommend the lobster roll and seafood chowder. Great place to stay in Lunenberg.

It was located right in the heart of the small town on top of the restaurant. There was no air conditioning, so it got really stuffy but there were fans set up. Quite expensive for what you are getting! There is no on site parking so you must either park at the harbour or try to find street parking (very busy on weekends!) staff was nice, very strict on 3pm check in. Check in was at restaurant host stand.
