「This property is a gem. The host is very welcoming and has a wealth of information about the best places to eat and visits. The rooms are simple but very clean. Ideal location central to main tourist sites but not noisy. Strongly recommend.」

The location is midway between the railway station and old town, walking time to either is about 10 minutes. The archeological site is also walkable, at a greater distance about 20 minutes away. 「The beautifully decorated B &B felt curated. Decorated with love and care. Bravo. Our fourth floor room was wonderful- but a little too challenging for carrying bags up the stairs! Narrow and steep. There was lemonade to be made from lemons - there was a beautiful, large terrace exclusively for us. Manuela was exceptionally helpful. She sat down and mapped all the charms of Ortigia. Her weekend replacement was lovely. The B & B offers a wonderful breakfast for 10 euros. Enough for 2. 」

「Zentraler geht es kaum, dennoch hat man seine Ruhe. Parkplatz mit abgeschlossenem Tor, direkt am B&B, Touristeninformation mit Plan und Empfehlung für Restaurants und sinnvolle Routen ungefragt, Claudia ist ein Sonnenschein, spricht gut englisch und man konnte sie wirklich immer erreichen, auch ungewöhnliche Fragen wurden beantwortet (z.B. wo sollen wir nach Siracusa hin?). Das Frühstück war gut, wenn auch nicht außergewöhnlich. 」

「Very friendly and helpful receptions. The location is very convenient. We had an issue with the aircon late at night. I was told the next day that the aircon was fine that is was in sleep mode. As we stayed 1 night it didnt matter but definitely its not easy to use if thats the case. The bed light on/off is tricky but the hotel does explain to you during checkin. It was a nice laugh with the family trying to figure it out!!! 」
