The room was tiny with no room on either side of the bed. It worked well for a one-night stay for the two of us. Oscar provided an extension cord for a CPAP machine. The breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed talking with the other guests about the area. We even discovered that we had a mutual connection through ancestral farms in Skjåk. Her ancestors were Bøye and mine are listed as Bøje, which appear to be variations of the same name.
It's the perfect mix between a small hotel and a proper home. It's just no problems here, treat it like a home. Garden is cosy. Definetely a season-affected area, but our stay in late summer was calm.

Only 1 small restaurant nearby to walk to. We came by bus so no other option and it closes at 7 pm and has sandwiches and pizzas.
Villa Solvorn is delightful, a charming building set in a lovely garden, only moments from the fjord, The owner was friendly and helpful, and produced a delicious breakfast.
Expect it to feel more like staying in someone's immaculate home than a hotel.
This is an absolutely stunning B&B down to every detail. The owners and staff were helpful and it’s a perfect location if you want to take the ferry to the Urnes Stave Church(the oldest of the remaining Stave churches) which is beautiful and well worth the trip. Breakfast was great too. The downsides are: 1) sharing bathrooms; 2) tiny rooms; and 3) no close restaurants for dinner so eat first in the neighboring town.
This B&B is small and charming with a beautiful garden. The host was exceptionally pleasant and accommodating. Solvorn itself is a nice place to spend the day but it is tiny with limited dining options, best served as a jumping-off place for nearby areas. Limitation is the shared bathroom.
This old wooden house is well worth a visit. Tastefully refurbished, quiet surroundings, great host with a very personal touch and a really good breakfast. The only thing "missing" is your own bathroom, as the guests share the 2 bathrooms available.
Only 5 or 6 rooms, 3 different outside seating areas.
Personlig service. Nydelig frokost
