Having missed a flight we booked in late Saturday night. Front desk and all staff very plesant, accodating and spoke good english. Very clean throughout. Short but excellent stay and would do it again.

Good choice near Groupama Stadium

The hotel was clean, comfortable and a short drive to Groupama Stadium. My only complaint is that it was a bit warm and the thermostat was locked.

Great hotel if you are attending a concert at the Groupama stadium as the park and ride bus is only a 5 min walk. Its also only a 20 min from the Rhone express which is the direct tram from the airport. The hotel was modern and the staff were great and very helpful. It’s not in the fanciest part of town but don’t let this put you off. It was a great find.

The bed was outstanding. The breakfast was good. It is in a remote location but we walked to the stadium and that was fine. it's about a 10-15m wander to the tramline as well that gets you into Part Dieu very easily.

Proximity to Groupama stadium and access to shuttle for stadium was good. Shower room had a bad odor, no sink in toilet area, no tissues, another pillow would be nice. Key card was broken. Front desk tried reprogramming twice, but it did not help. They eventually issued a new card. Construction was being done around the hotel, hopefully it will make the hotel more appealing.

Practical and comfortable

The woman at reception, Morgan Jenkins, could not have been more helpful, she was brilliant and spoke great English as well. The room was big and comfortable, but was no frills e.g lacked an iron and any tea/ coffee facilities but otherwise clean and exactly what we needed. It is well out of town so own transport needed or there is a tram about 10 minutes walk away. There is a McDonald’s next door but otherwise no obvious restaurants nearby. If you have your own car ensure you ask for on site parking ( they have a big Carpark, but I wouldn’t want to leave it in the nearby area). We paid for breakfast which was a decent enough selection, typically continental, but sadly on second day they had completely run out of the cooked meat and the hastily prepared scrambled eggs were verging on inedible ( hard, burnt) but that aside it was fine. This hotel is clearly for short stays where the main aim is to sleep comfortably whilst in transit, but as I say it was exactly what we needed and if that is what you need it is perfect.

Hotel lumieres is an efficiently run, clean and modern hotel. It is conveniently situated close to Lyon airport. The hotel has a very generous breakfast. The hotel has secure parking. The hotel is quiet and the rooms extremely comfortable. The staff are very pleasant. I would recommend the hotel.

Great Hotel, more amazing Food

The staff were very friendly, with the receptionist ( cant remember her name, dark hair and Tattoos) very helpful and great English. Im sorry my french is not better. But....the evening meal was amazing...the Chef is so talented. If you stay for a night or two have the Buffet....sooo tasty

Very poor condition

Very poor. Carpet was very stained and unpleasant. Didn't feel clean to walk on it and i wasn't keen for my children to use the sofa bed and walk on the carpet around it.
