Like most places in Vietnam, maintenance is a bit of an issue. However, breakfast was great and staff were truly helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
Hotel was very close to shops, restaurants, Train Street and the lake.

Great location. Rooms were good but could do with a bit of tlc especially in the bathrooms. We had like warm water most of the time which was fine. Shower area could have done with a bit of a deep clean and some minor maintenance but was absolutely fine.
Large spacious bedroom and good aircon.
Breakfast was good. Limited selection of fruit and meats/cheeses but cooked to order eggs, pancakes and Cambodian dishes which were all very good. Plentiful

For first time visitors to Hà Nội, we did not appreciate how close and central the Solaria Hotel was to everything we wanted to see! Set right near Hoàn Kiếm Lake, it was walkable to nearby tourist highlights and souvenir destinations. However, the area comes alive on the weekend as the nearby streets are turned into a walking street, with vibrant nightlife and family-friendly options.
The buzzing sounds of the city were not unpleasant to wake up to, and we still felt rested in a comfortable bed with a clean room.
Hotel staff were immensely helpful, hardworking, and diligently attentive to our needs, providing helpful advice to first time (but definitely not last time!) visitors to Viet Nam, ensuring we were contacted in advance, helping us to avoid scam taxis by arranging airport transfers for a very low fee, and keeping the room tidy and comfortable in the August heat.
We loved our stay and we will be recommending to family and friends to stay here if they’re ever in Hà Nội too.
