Lovely apartment in Simpelveld

Prepare for a varied vacation in South Limburg with family and friends in this authentic farmhouse, which has been divided by the owner into several domiciles of different sizes. This vacation home is suitable for twelve people. On the first floor there is a spacious living room with a large flat screen TV, a kitchen with a TV and a long dining table for all guests and a separate toilet. The bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the first and second floor. On warm days, the communal outdoor pool offers a pleasant cooling. This beautiful vacation farm is located in the characteristic hills of South Limburg and offers plenty of space to stay outside. The farm also has a large open terrace. In addition, some cottages have their own covered terrace.

On the farm there is a bistro where you can enjoy lunch or dinner. Pets are allowed in this vacation home. For a larger group you can choose cottages HLI051 - HLI058.

Directly from this vacation home in South Limburg the possibilities for walks, bike rides and excursions are endless. Cycle to Hoensbroek Castle and the picturesque town of Valkenburg, where you can take the cable car to the Wilhelmina Tower. Visit with the children the amusement park De Valkenier. Other nice excursions from this vacation home in South Limburg are Snowworld and Mondo Verde in Landgraaf, the indoor swimming pool Mosaqua in Gulpen, GaiaZOO in Kerkrade, the Dreiländereck in Vaals and the castle park Born. Walk through the Brunssumerheide nature reserve and enjoy the cultural cities of Maastricht, Liège and Aachen. This property is connected in a row with other vacation homes.

Der untere Teil der großen Wohnung war ganz ok. Große Wohnküche zum spielen und geselligem Zusammenkommen. Wohnzimmer mit einer sehr großen Sofalandschaft, auf der jeder Platz fand die nur ein wenig Schmuddelig war.Die erste Treppe nach Oben, sehr steil. Für Oma & Opa sowie die Kid's unter 5 Jahren wahnsinnig gefährlich.Erste Etage zwei Zimmer mit Doppelbetten ziemlich ok.Ein Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten auch ok.Ein Abstellkammer mit Doppelbett und ohne Fenster unterirdisch.Bad naja. Sauber ist anders.Dachgeschoss, die Treppe dorthoch sau gefährlich, für Hunde, Kinder und Erwachsene.Ober angekommen, 4 Bett Zimmer. Ok. Bad leider ohne Fenster und lüftung wie die anderen Bäder auch.Für ein Wochenende kann man so einen spezial Urlaub mal machen. Länger geht nicht.

Der Wohnbereich Parterre ist gut ausgestattet und eignet sich hervorragend für eine große Gruppe. Die Ausstattung der Küche : Geschirr , Gläser sehr knapp. Die Schlafzimmer Sehr unterschiedlich, die Beleuchtung funktionierte nur teilweise, man bemühte sich um Licht, was nicht zufriedenstellend gelang. Da es ein Altbau ist ist die Treppe zum Schlafbereich sehr steil !

Gemütliche Gemeinschaftsräume, unzufriedenstellende Schlafräume und Badezimmer

Wir hatten ein schönes Wochenende in dieser herrlichen Gegend, waren aber von der Unterkunft enttäuscht. Das Wohnzimmer und die Küche sind gemütlich und geräumig, so wie es 9 von 19 Bildern des Inserates zeigten.Das Online-Inserat zeigt desweiteren 2 Schlafräume realistisch: Das Doppelzimmer ist schön, das Viererzimmer unter dem Dach hat Jungendherbergsfeeling. Der 3 Schlafraum (2 Einzelbetten) wird nur zur Hälfte gezeigt und ist eng, aber okay. Der 4. Schlafraum ist kein richtiges Zimmer, sondern besteht aus zwei Schlafnischen am Ende eines Flurs. Den 5.Schlafraum (2 Einzelbetten) hatten wir glücklicherweise nicht nötig. Er ist ein fensterloses Kabuff und wäre für Erwachsene eine Zumutung gewesen. Ggf. ist er nutzbar für Kinder, die Höhlen lieben. Die Badezimmer sind zweckmäßig, aber machten einen sehr abgenutzen und schmuddeligen Eindruck wie auch die übrigen Räume im Obergeschoss. Insgesamt wäre sicher eine Renovierung gut, denn der Hof hat insgesamt Charme. Schön waren die Sitzmöglichkeiten im Innenhof und die Terrasse an der Parkplatzseite des Hauses.Der Pool, auf den einige von uns sich gefreut hatten, da er laut Inserat Mai -August geöffnet sein sollte, war abgedeckt und eingezäunt und nach Aussage des Personals im Bistro nebenan "natürlich erst ab Juni" geöffnet. Einem Aushang am Zaun zufolge ist das Schwimmen auch dann täglich erst ab 11 Uhr erlaubt, also nichts für Morgenschwimmer.

Lovely setting nice srea

Good spacious eating and relaxing area.stairs to upper levels steep and twisty could be difficult for some people.Warm and cosy but not sure of the 2 smaller bedrooms given one had no window and other on the small side. Decor was a bit tired and kitchen was missing some basic utensils.But overall good value for money stay.

Would Stay Again

Property would benefit from including some towels and tea towels, bedding is rented not automatically provided. There are no hairdryers or an iron provided. The stairs to the first floor are very narrow and curved, we would not recommend elderly or young children stay because of these! All of the above would make the stay a little easier. The property is nice but fairly basic, the location is great and the village is in walking distance, there are a few restaurants nearby, we would especially recommend Shoco’s Bistro. The Managers were pleasant enough and spoke enough English for us to get by. The Pool is only open between 11am and 6pm which for us did not suit our plans so we never got chance to use it, on the one occasion we were in those times it was still locked, it was also not particularly clean at the time of our visit. On the whole we would definitely recommend the property, we have listed the negatives but the positives outweigh these. Thank you to the property management and we would definitely stay again.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft für viele Personen in toller Landschaft

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung für viele Menschen, leider ist die Ausstattung von Besteck und Gläsern etwas dürftig. Ein Zimmer mit 2 Betten hat leider kein Fenster. Die Landschaft ist schön, die Möglichkeiten für Kinder auf dem Gelände etwas eingeschränkt. Toll wäre eine Tischtennis Platte. Trotzdem nette Anlage.

Habe hier mein Geburtstag mit der Familie gefeiert und 4 Tage verbracht. Küche und Wohnzimmer sind riesig und sehr gemütlich. Zum schlafen reicht es oben mit teilweise kleine Zimmer. Wer kein First Class Komfort sucht, ist hier richtig gut aufgehoben.
