The staff were GREAT. Reception, Breakfast, cleaning. There is a pool but we didn’t have time, nor the gym. About €13 Uber from town. Interior isn’t modern. It was a good family stay.

Great stop over

Great short stay on our way home from holiday. Staff were very welcoming and the room was clean. A little out from the center which is great for driving through, not much for restaurants near by and kitchens close early. We were able to get delivery to hotwl whichwas perfectly fine!

This is a typical Novotel, slightly dated and tired, dressed concrete look. The kind of hotel one only uses to sleep and have breakfast. If these are the only benefits you’re after in a hotel, this offers quite ok value for your Euro. Staff is friendly and supportive

Excellent, Good price, Great Service, Easy Parking

For the relatively cheap price this was an excellent one night stay in a superior double room. Bed was comfy, plenty of pillows, good seating, easy car parking (should be free), friendly and efficient service. We had a meal in the restaurant - the drinks and food came super quick and dinner was very tasty (fish n chips). The waiter / chef was awesome - friendly, efficient, professional, quick, multi tasker and well presented. Issues with our stay - we had to run the shower for about 5 or more minutes before it got to the right temperature - pressure wasn’t that great. The other issue was the pool being shut just because it was raining. Really? Would we get wet or something?

The worst Novotel I’ve been!

I booked this hotel late at 20.30 on our way to Amsterdam. We haven’t been in Maastricht before and chose to stay at this Novotel as we used to booked Accor/Ennismore in the past and the reviews seems to be ok. I’ve informed the front desk that we will arrive late at 23.15. The front desk replied quick and reconfirmed the late arrival. The check-in went smooth, signed a liability form and paid the bill. The room however was not made for a family, double room superior with sofa bed for 2 small children. We were told to pull the sofa out and find the pillows in the room, only to find out that the sofa looks used from previous guests! Yuck! I complained but the late shift staff were not helpful at all. 3 women discussing in the back office and in the end I had to fix the sofa bed at 23.30 by myself carrying the duvets, pillows & backpack from the reception with 2 small children! The receptionist offered to assist though with carrying but I expected a finish made bed and sofa bed for 4 pax at the arrival. This is not acceptable from a 4 star hotel and not used from previous Novotel at all! Unfortunately this is the last time at a Novotel! P.S. Please throw or upcycle the bed sheets with holes.

Friendly staff that were happy to help when needed. Pool was lovely given the hot temperatures. Access to hired bikes that we enjoyed using and seeing the beautiful Maastricht surroundings.

Great breakfast options. Even some American-specific options. Parking was all automated and gated. Very convenient which is not always the case in this part of the world. HVAC was quiet and efficient. Some older hotels have no A/C so this was nice. Great bed and bedding.
