Reception staff are helpful. Vic's restaurant food is good. Restaurant staff Rachelle is friendly and very helpful. We enjoy our stay and the hotel stay. We'll be back if in Macau again. Breakfast is at Harbourview Hotel pretty nice spread of food. All are good except limited transport.

The hotel is a great Boutique property that is a totally different experience than the big hotel plus casino chains that are on the Island. It would be better when the renovations around it in Fisherman's Warf are completed.

Macau has lost many of its traditional hotels, eg the Bela Vista, Pousada de Sao Tiago etc. Although named after The Rocks in Sydney and opened more recently, the Rocks Hotel still affords a lifestyle in more genteel Portuguese times and it has an excellent restaurant, Vic's. Some high-powered private meetings were taking place here during our stay. Good for business and nostalgia, casinos a walk away.

Exceptional warmest hospitality
The check in process is very efficient and no need to wait. The reception team is very nice and helpful providing my wife, who injured her foot near Macau ferry termial, with useful medical information, ice and wheelchair. My special thanks to Michelle whose heart-felt help and assistances are most impressive. Hotel environment is pleasant and quiet at side of seashore, but with many restaurants and amenities nearby. It is a right choice for enjoying a relaxing holiday. I will come back next time.

Very comfortable stay
Only 1 sets of amenity in room for 2 ppl stay. So I requested Housekeeping to bring 1 more sets of amenity. And, there is no USB charge plug.It may because the facility may a bit outdated.It is better to prepare USB plug at Housekeeping so that guests may stay more comfortable. Although it was City view, can see the bridge and see from balcony so enough satisfied. The most comfortable things are very silent and calm environment.

Quiet location
Hotel was located at a quiet corner by the sea which makes slightly difficult for transportation. Taxi doesn't usually get there and there was no bus stop near by. Good if you wan peace and quiet. Not so much if you are looking for something to do around the hotel.

This hotel was super nice and the staff were great. It's a little old, though, and the room was pretty musty/damp. They have a shuttle to and from the ferry terminal. Breakfast was pretty good. Overall, a nice hotel in Macau.

The Rocks Macau
As location is at far end of The Fishermen Wharf, a reliable shuttle bus service is more acute to guests. Currently, this service runs from 9 to 9. I felt a bit stranded whenever dining out till late evenings. Furthermore, I was once initially refused boarding shuttle because in a shopping bag there were some fruits. Wifi inhouse was very good.

The balcony was amazing. It gets better when we discovered there's a second balcony in the bathroom. It is a hotel you can stay at and spend time in. Very relaxing and quite romantic.

The Rocks rocks!
The Hotel rocks! The decoration of the hotel and rooms are absolutely amazing!! With all the classic Victorian furnitures, my niece feels like a princess during the stays, she is very happy! However the hotel itselfs has no facilities. We can use the one in the Harbour View hotel which is like 10 mins walk away. But still it is not very convenient walking in the public all wet... And the shuttle bus services are poor. There is only 1 bus line going macau pier and with few stops at the hotels and casinos of the same management group which is fine, we do understand that. But the problem is we waited for almost an hour and 3 buses dropped by and they were all just going Macau pier direction but not the other way round!! The concierge guy said he asked the driver because it was lunch hour! So people will only go to the pier but not the casino during lunch time?!? And you could inform us earlier so we dont have to wait!? We were kinda angry and finally we took taxi because we cant bare the hot weather and walk under the bright sun but the driver was very umhappy with the short distance of the ride thats another story :@ ... Anyways, I think the hotel can do better on the facilities and then it will rock even more!

A relaxing escape
Our hotel room was exactly what we wanted: Peace and calm from our day of sight seeing. Delicious meals in an elegant setting. No casino， which was what we wanted. We were in Macau for a show， galleries and museums and food!
