We paid for what we saw in the pictures, but in reality the Matsubara hotel is not what you see there. The pictures on Expedia are from when the hotel was new. The rooms are old, dirty and poorly maintained. We only spent a few hours until we decided to go to another place.

Escolhemos o Hotel Matsubara para encerrar nossa viagem de 15 dias, imaginando conforto e boa hospedagem. Mas foi o oposto: no quarto 322 havia baratas vivas no colchão e pela cama. Ao avisar a recepção, fomos tratados com rispidez, e ainda sugeriram apenas uma dedetização! Após insistir, fomos trocados para o quarto 422, onde o ar-condicionado pingava sobre a cama, a descarga não funcionava e o chuveiro não esquentava. Ao contatar o setor de reservas, disseram que a diretoria só estaria presente na segunda-feira, o que mostra a falta de respeito e gestão. Já estivemos em hotéis simples pela Europa e América Latina, e jamais vimos tanta negligência e decadência. Uma decepção enorme com um hotel que já teve nome, mas hoje está muito aquém do que anuncia.

Não tive uma boa experiência. O local tinha um cheiro forte, tanto no quarto, quanto no refeitório, era insuportável ficar dentro do refeitório. O frigobar dava choques.

NÃO ACREDITE NAS FOTOS! O lugar está completamente deteriorando. A noite demasiadamente escuro, assustador. Distante demais do centro, mas o pior é o interior. Piso, paredes e o cheiro insuportável! No quarto, e roupa de cama cheirando mofo. Ao tirarmos o lixo que estava no ralo, o cheiro de esgoto foi insuportável. Locamos por 7 dias, mas chegamos e fomos embora no dia seguinte. Falaram que iriam fazer reembolso dos 6 dias, via email, e nada.

Hotel bem antigo

O hotel é bem antigo e precisa de uma boa revitalização. Os quartos são amplos, mas apresentam alguns problemas, como espelhos descascados e piso com umidade, o que passa uma sensação de falta de manutenção. Por outro lado, os funcionários são muito gentis e atenciosos, e o café da manhã é bom, com boas opções. O hall de entrada está bem conservado, mas a fachada e principalmente os quartos merecem melhorias para que a experiência seja mais agradável.

Hotel aparentemente antigo, mas reformado, funcionários educados, próximo shopping, e frente para a praia (mas contém pedras),local com bastante plantas, peixes, tudo bem cuidado.
