"The sunshed is delightful -- the windows over the bed mean a lovely view for falling asleep and waking. The outdoor shower and compost toilet were clean and the shower pressure was great. Heads up if you'll be arriving after dark -- signage is small and the lighting is minimal to non-existent. Also would have been great to have a flashlight in the shed (be sure to bring yours/have your phone charged and ready)."

"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was conveniently located near family and to the wedding venue we attended. Our host, Maggie, was great! She was kind and very responsive. She had everything perfectly setup for our visit. It was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were super comfortable. The washer and dryer definitely came in handy! We are very glad to have found this place."

"Loved our stay, very quiet, peaceful area, clean new house. We used it for day trips to Acadia into Ellsworth. And as a chance to relax for a couple of days after our son's wedding."

"The view here is everything, as other reviews have stated! My kids loved the rocks to climb on and the private beach to look for shells. Although dated, the cottage itself had everything we needed for a family of four. The bright yellow carpet in the master bedroom was maybe the worst feature (it has seen better days!), but overall very clean and a great spot to stay for a few nights to enjoy the Maine coastal life. I would recommend this property!"

"The property was beautiful. The views were beautiful. Kitchen was fully stocked. Home was clean and well laid out. We loved our whole trip. We would highly recommend this property and would stay again. Suggestion: we were confused by the wording on how many beds in the listing. Said 2 king beds in master bedroom - it really meant 1 king bed that slept 2 people."

"This cabin ahas all the modern comfort you will need to enjoy your time at the lake. Our granddaughters loved it as well as our 2 labs. Anne was exceptional at quickly answering all our questions. The improvements that were made I believe in 2023, they definitely spared no expense they were done right and looks to have taken thought as to the comfort as well as the general beauty of it and keeping with nature and not destroying any of it, right down to the beautiful large boulders made into steps. We appreciated all that went into the remodel, and how well the cabin was stocked. You won’t be disappointed if you choose this little Beauty on the lake."
