Clean, modern, great beds, and a wonderful pool, + the sunset. Alfredo + Celia were great hosts! After a day of touring the island we couldn’t wait to get back and relax at this wonderful residence!"

"If I could give more that 5 stars I would, what a beautiful place to stay in a beautiful city, everything from start to finish was hassle free, the host was so good answering any questions I had but it’s the accommodation that needs more than 5 stars, the right location, everything you could need is here, I could not of wished for anything more, a truly fantastic place to stay and hopefully I will get the chance to head back soon"

"It was a nice place to stay within our budget! Judite was great and everything was clean, worked, and felt safe. Judite even accommodated out late arrival - 12:15 am! On the other side, we were aware there was no air conditioning but the apartment often got quite hot and muggy. While the parking was an excellent accommodation, it was quite a tight fit after a precarious drive uphill. All things considered, would absolutely book again!"

"Great hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. The place was very clean. It was great having access to all of the facilities of the park hotel next door. Location was perfect, closer to the “old town” Funchal than most of the hotels, about a 20 min walk to the center, but great area near a lot. Overall I felt very safe, only thing to note is that there is no one at the front desk between midnight and 7am, but you will need your key card to get into the building...

"This apartment is in an ideal location to enjoy all the splendor that Madeira has to offer. Just a few minutes walk from the center of Funchal. We hired a motorbike and parking outside was not a problem. "Generaly an old hotel could need some refurbishments. Our room was really humid, we notified the reception but noting was done, no working ventilation in the bathroom.
