"Our cabin was exactly what you think of as an up north getaway. Cozy and in an ideal location. Location was close to the Mackinaw Island ferry dock, the lake was great for this kids to play in and the fire pit made the evenings great. Host was great and responsive, the check in/out was easy. The location couldn't have been better, only 5 miles to Mackinaw City and the ferry to Mackinac Island,and very close to Cheboygan too. "The cabins are pretty close together, and the water is only about 5 feet away when exiting out of cabin 6s back porch. Cabin 6s bathroom is pretty small, and hard to walk through. The whole bathroom is cramped including the toilet area. The walk in shower is really out of place and the only light in the bathroom is right above the shower stall. The steam from my shower made the light flicker, which I got a little freaked out by it. The cabin overall could use a lot small repairs and updates....
