“Half an hour a at from Puerto Maldonado by boat , the place is lovely, with river view and a feel of the jungle without venturing too far.
We felt like we got a good insight into the area, with included excursions on the river and into the jungle. Our guide Yuri, who was with us throughout, was very knowledgeable and good.
The food was great and they had several veg options . Well stocked bar too .
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had a great stay.”

“From start to the end it was an experience we needed. We felt like queen and king. Room is super clean and there were no flys in it. It is December but temperature was not hot or cold just perfect. They gave us free organic mosquito repellent oils and free water bottles to keep. There were free water in the room every morning but if you purchase at the restaurant it is 12 seol. Food is free. Breakfast is a simple but healthy and enough. Cheese, salami, olive, tomato, couple fruits and cereal.……

“The boat journey is exciting and comfortable despite being 8 hrs up river and 5 back. If lucky u meet the researchers and hear about their ingenious projects focused on the flora and fauna and the staff are attentive and wonderful as is the food.
We were up at 4.30 most mornings which is no sweat as u go to bed about 9 pm. The clay licks are disappointing this time of year as the Macaws come rarely and the smaller birds fear the hawks without the macaws on the lick...but the birds accumulate……
