The apartment is eclectic and zany in a great area of town. Close to walking to retiro, around Salamanca, and very close to red line. There is AC in the living room but it did not quite reach all the way to the bedrooms, so it was a quite toasty night for an American used to AC. There is not a dryer despite the listing saying there is one, but there are clotheslines to dry your clothes which is common in Spain. The fridge also did not work. I would recommend for the host to put a few electric fans in the bedrooms to ensure cool air circulation.

Ubicación perfecta, todo muy limpio.

Hemos ido 3 amigas a pasar un finde a Madrid y la ubicación es PERFECTA literalmente a 5 minutos andando del Retiro, con un montón de sitios para comer (de variedades de precio), la boca de metro a 2 minutos andando.Todo estaba muy limpio y la comunicación con el propietario ha sido rápida y sencilla.

Great stay

We visited Madrid earlier this month and our stay at Jose's property was everything we hoped for. They were available during the booking process for questions, replying quickly. The check-in went smoothly. The apartment was just as the pictures and description indicate. We loved the design of the rooms and the neighborhood is incredible. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Madrid.

La luz saltaba por la noche, y mi madre duerme con una máquina para respirar, fue horrible.Solo pusieron 2 toallas secas y dos mojadas, pero reclamé y me trajeron dos toallas de playa enseguida,, en ese sentido, fueron muy amables. Éramos tres personas.El olor del apartamento es muy molesto a humedad, pero descubrimos q en un armario guardan las toallas y sábanas mojadas, de ahí la olor.Las camas son de 80 y otra de 135. Lo mejor es el precio, pero hay veces q no vale la pena pagar menos. Yo me he arrepentido.

Nos costó localizar la calle, y luego poder contactar con el propietario. Lo tuvimos que hacer mediante Vrbo, estuvimos más de 2hs esperando hasta que pudimos entrar.

À fuir, mauvaise prestataire privé!

A fuire à fuire , pas de consigne d arrivée, personne qui réceptionne à votre arrivée!!!! L’insatisfaction a été atteint lorsque Jose l’interlocuteur qui répondait au message avant notre arrivé et plus personne au moment de notre arrivé. On a dû appeler Abritel pour avoir les informations exact sur place afin qu’ une personne nous apporter la clé de l’appartement (1h 30 d attente). Nous ne sommes pas très exigeant mais là le minimum n’était pas atteint. Nous sommes extrêmement déçu d autant plus que l’appartement était très vieillot, prises cassées avec risque d' électrocution et dangereuses, attention aux petits enfants. Tous est vieillissants, les mobiliers et des chaises horribles, à croire que vous êtes chez Dracula. En plus de cet appartement qui n' est pas à la hauteur et pas un mot ou document explicatif du fonctionnement, le manque de considération envers les clients est inacceptable !!! J ai relancé le fameux José au moins 10fois sans exagérer pour une facture, sans réponse de sa part, c' est inadmissible! Je ne suis pas du genre à laisser des commentaires négatifs mais je suis tellement déçue de cette prestation, a supprimer du site de Abritel. Je recommande vivement à tous ceux qui recherchent une location de fuir celui-ci.
