Stayed for one night. No complaints. The hotel is located close to meenakshi temple 15 -20 mins by car/auto. Staff was courteous and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was a bit slippery i guess a non slip mat would help but in all good. Hot and cold water was good. Comb , shaving set, towels, toothpaste& brush and other usual toiletries stuff were provided. Comfortable bed I had a good night sleep. Ac was good there is a ceiling fan as well . The room furniture seems old with some scratches . The breakfast was good had the usual South Indian dishes, idili Vada oothaaapam kesari sambar chutney ect. There was non veg option catering to foreigners tourists. Considering all the amenities and services it is expensive hotel but worth the price . Overall a comfortable stay . I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone Visiting Madurai. and I hope to return for a longer stay!

It was really a nigjtmare to stay in the Germanus hotel in madhurai..it was quite opposite for wht was seen in the hotel.com..service and the condotion of the hotel was terrible..Dnt knw why its bn charged so high..with such a gud rating..trying to uplad the pics of the hotel bt they r not uploading

The room is neat and good. Unique property here is the Swimming Pool but it was not functioning due to the pandemic that was disappointing. Atleast you guys should have mentioned about it while booking. And one more I booked the room along with the break fast from Expedia but in the hotel the Manager told that I have not booked with the break fast that was another disappointing.

Worst Hotel! Worst check-in experience! Room was not ready at the time of check in, they kept moving us from one room to another, receptionist kept lying about the room. We got our room 3 hours later. We had buffet dinner at their restaurant- noodles were uncooked, staff doesn’t understand Indian national language or working language of the country, no one else was eating except my family, plastic found in Upma and ice-cream, flies on fruits and food, food was cold, naan felt like plastic - my mother fell sick and right now suffering from food poisoning. As if this was not enough, when we finally took a shower, the water was yellow straight from gutter, when we called them they said it’s rainwater, and they gave us two buckets of fresh but cold water, by that time one of us had already bathed with gutter water, and remaining two couldn’t bathe despite the fact that we had to visit a temple. When we asked them to connect with their owner or senior official they said he is in a meeting. Worst experience of our life! DO NOT GO THERE EVER!
