Beautiful home with all your needs.

Home away from home

The game room is a lot of fun, I walked up the mountain behind the cabin the rhododendrons were blooming and it was some beautiful sights, the cabin is very homey and comfortable, just don’t forget to bring ice so you are not surprised, it was a great trip and we will return !!

Little Bear

This is our second time staying here and we love it even more. Perfect for families, great outdoor space, wonderful views. Super clean with every amenity that we could possibly need. The kids love the game room. We would not stay anywhere else in Maggie Valley.

Parents get away

We wanted to take our parents on a smokie mountain get away and this house was perfect. We were away from all the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and able to enjoy nature.

Little Bear is wonderful.

We loved our stay at Little Bear. The back porch and the fire ring are great amenities. The house is well appointed and well equipped. Lots of games, fantastic new refrigerator, and even EV plug ins. I highly recommend this rental.

Little Bear ♥️

We loved our stay at Little Bear. The perfect size for our family of five, we felt like we were alone in the woods on the mountain, even though there were neighbors close. The accommodations were wonderful - just bring an iron if you’re attending a wedding! 😂 Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

This cabin has every thing you need and want and more. We loved the game room and the scenery is to die for. very quiet location perfect for coffee and watching the sun come up. Surrounded by mountains. All the little details in the cabin make it feel like home. Only thing I have negative to say is the master bed is very firm other than that we loved our stay and plan to come back again.

Girls get away

The house was perfect for a birthday getaway. The house was super clean with all the modern amenities. Tastefully decorated for the Christmas season with Christmas lights outside and a nice Christmas tree inside. The sound of the creek was nice and serene. Maggie Valley and Waynesville offer the best of the western Carolina mountains. We were able to witness a winter parade in Waynesville on our last day that made this vacation perfect. We are already planning on coming next year and we will definitely stay at Little Bear again.

Amazing Time!

We visited Maggie Valley to ski for my son’s 13th birthday. It being our first time we needed to find a place to accommodate our group of 6. This property provided just that! It was roomy and welcoming. We thought the cabin themed home was the perfect layout which included a game room essential for our boys to keep busy. The kitchen was fully equipped with beautiful upgraded appliances for meal preparations. The only minor flaw that we experienced was a little plumbing blockage in the master shower. I’m sure some drain-o would be a quick fix to that. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend/rebook in the future.

Peaceful location, beautiful home

Beautiful home and peaceful location with the creek next door lulling us to sleep. Unfortunately, the lights stopped working in one of the bathrooms and was not addressed during our stay. Would have liked a discount for that inconvenience but since the host was a third-party company, no sympathy was given and communication was sterile and impersonal. The linens weren't gross or anything but they are overdue for updating. Otherwise, the home was clean and quiet at night (neighbor nearby was blasting music during the day). The bear theme was cute and the home was spacious and comfortable for a family to stay in.

Spacious and gracious home

We loved every part of Little Bear. The large entry porch, running the length of the house, looks over a ravine full of rhododendrons, magnolias and other natives, creating a private screen. The backyard has a fire pit, plenty of seating, and a picnic table for outdoor dining and family fun. The main room has cathedral ceilings, an open floor plan for living room, dining room and kitchen. The comfortable furniture is full of recliners so kick back and relax. The well appointed kitchen contained both Keurig and drip coffee makers so pick your favorite. There are plenty of pots, bowls, cutting boards and knives, all of which are often in short supply at other rentals. All the rooms are generous in size and well appointed. Very comfortable bed. The home was immaculate. We appreciated the location in Maggie Valley and were able to see elk in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, one of our vacation dreams. Although there were only two of us, Little Bear would comfortably fit a family of 6. We appreciated this beautiful home.

So much to love!

We love the rustic decor, the layout and all of the special touches, such as towel warmer, heated bathroom fan, multiple ways to make coffee, air fryer, crock pot, and FOUR reclining seats. The layout was perfect for my husband, two boys, and mother-in-law. The game room was nice although we didn’t use it much. The split firewood is also so considerate although we didn’t get to use the fire pit eiather because we forgot matches/lighter. This place would have five stars if it weren’t for a couple of mishaps…the pilot light was out on the gas logs. A ticket was submitted and someone did call to help us, but we were still unable to get it to light so we couldn’t use the fireplace. We had trouble with two bedroom TVs staying connected to internet but my husband was able to figure that out. The dishwasher seems to have some sort of error and was unusable. All in all, we would definitely consider Little Bear again and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! One more tip: do the late check out if it’s offered…very affordable!
