"We loved our stay in Penfield! The cabin was so cozy and homey--we loved sitting next to the woodstove, the furniture was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. The property is so gorgeous and we loved exploring the backyard and stream. Great location close to lots of parks and hiking. Thanks for the great stay!"

"Property is clean. It is located close to the road so you can hear the traffic and trucks all night long if you are a light sleeper. The bed is VERY firm as well. The shower pressure is really good and the water gets hot— nice and relaxing after hiking and looking for elk."

The host gets extra points for finding a friend with a truck who helped us get our car out of a ditch down the road when no tow truck would come. There are some roads in the area that are not "maintained" in the winter. Our bad. Make sure you have an AWD in the winter. "
