"Charming, rustic property. Very clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. Fireplace heats the house very well. We didn't need baseboard heat (or we could have skipped the fire). Loved the sauna. So happy to not have access to WiFi. Comfy beds. Awesome hosts. -- responded quickly to a question and were very friendly. Loved the sounds of frogs and birds, and the stars were beautiful."

It was very close to Sax Zim Bog, and it was close to the gas station and Wilbert Cafe in town. It was a great size, newly designed, nice appliances to cook our own meals, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom with a large shower. "We had a wonderful stay at this relaxing retreat! We loved the lake view and all the amenities (paddle boards, comic book collection, sauna, gas grill, spacious kitchen, and large farm table for gathering to playing cards). Being a group that loves to cook together in the kitchen, the selection of kettles was a tad limited and a few 3 - 4 qt pots would be nice :). We would definitely recommend this place to others who might enjoy a quite scenic lake stay in Northern MN."

"What a beautiful space for a fall getaway. The cabin is spacious and clean - even better than it looks in the pictures. Plenty of comfortable furniture, open spaces made even more so by the numerous windows, and comfortable beds. There's no TV (in my mind, that's a bonus), but the wi-fi worked great and there are plenty of books and board games available. Outside, the lake is just a few steps away - the peace and serenity there were so inviting. I spent hours just sitting on the dock, enjoying...

"Not sure where to start, Cold with no heat You plugged anything in and you will blow a hard to find fuse that we had to go back to Duluth to find, water was un drinkable found out the hard way, the bath house was un heated aswell and the hot water lasted for about 2 minutes. Needless to say it was for the most part Unhabitable!"

"We really enjoyed our time at this lovely cabin. Quiet, peaceful location and lots of great fishing :-) Photos are representative of the interior and the cabin was very clean, which goes a long way with me! :-) The kitchen was adequately stocked and having the grill to use outside was very nice. Sandy was very responsive to any questions and very helpful. Would stay again!"
