very tidy and well-located

I spent two nights there in a female dormitory. The room was very clean and tidy. The hostel is located in the down town so it's very convenient to travel to other places. Yet, the noise from outside could hardly be filtered so at night it was quite noisy and disturbed my sleep. Also, it would be better if there could be a private toilet in the dormitory.

We loved the location. However, the space was incredibly small. The logistics to get to the second floor was complicated, I have knee difficulties and the multiple stairs are a problem but the elevator does not stop on the second floor unless you have a key which only the employees have. The street noise was incredible, kept us up the entire night, our first night. Nicely decorated and friendly staff, but I would not stay here again.

Overall it was a good experience and the beds are very comfortable, but the outside noise made it almost impossible to sleep. Even with the windows closed, we hard ally/street noise till around 4 in the morning and it started again at 6.

Cheap and cheerful hostel.

Chinitas urban hostel was in a great location. Close to all amenities. The front house staff were great, very knowledgeable about the area and with a good understanding of English. The hostel was also very clean. My only complaint would be that the four bed dorm was tiny, I had to unpack on the floor as there was very little space. You must remember though that the price of staying here is very cheap so I do not think it is fair complaining.
