「The shower/bath looks like it had water damage, and it sounded like a radio in one of the rooms close to mine was on full blast this morning. 」

「Staff was helpful, room was clean. Only complaint was the train that went through at the worst time of night and is basically touching the property. Would stay again for price and location. Might request a forward facing room. 」

「The staff were friendly and kind. The hotel and our room smelled strongly of weed. The sink wouldn’t drain and the bathroom was in disrepair. The bedding was ripped and stained. I tried to contact Expedia and they said someone would call. It’s been a week and no one has called. Again the staff were all friendly and helpful but the building is need of a lot of repairs and a good cleaning for the smell. 」

「There were bed bugs in our room on 2nd floor as well as the rooms our team were in on the 8th floor. It took us hours to find other rooms for the team we had taken to Charleston to compete the next day. We will not book there again and will not recommend this property. 」

「The breakfast menu was not very good; the eggs were watery, and there was no fruit option. But the worst part was the pillows — they were flat and hard, as if they had been used a thousand times and had no fluff left, like a flattened cake.」

「This is our second time staying here. The owners are so nice and make us feel welcome. The view of the river out our door is beautiful. Room is clean and the bed is comfortable.」

「The room was great, staff was great, parking was tight because they had a full house. My only issue this trip was every time I went into or came out of the main front door, there was a super strong smell of marijuana like someone within 10 feet was smoking it. I wish the lot was more lit up than it is as well. 」

「Room was clean but really warm. Couldn’t cool it down and then couldn’t sleep because it was too hot. Pool was small and cold. Asked several times for towels and it seemed like an inconvenience for them. Long waits for the elevator. Not my favorite place to stay. 」

「The Hampton was sold out but staff provided a professional service to all patrons. Very informed in answering questions. Very clean room and facility. Buffet breakfast a large array of hot and cold options. Never have seen a better quality and variety. Great place.」

「For some reason was put in a handicap accessable room which I didn't request. The bottom of the shower area had jagged edges. The door from the bathroom into the mainroom swung open and would hit the table next to the bed which was annonying. 」

「There is only 1 elevator in the property, which was very inconvenient for the size of the hotel. Very often causing a long wait or having to use the stairs.」
