From the moment we arrived, the beauty of the resort was matched only by the incredible warmth and professionalism of the staff. ​While the culinary offerings across the entire resort were excellent, a special mention must go to Suan Bua. This Thai restaurant truly stands out—not just for the delicious, authentic flavors that transported us with every bite, but for its beautiful and serene atmosphere that makes for an unforgettable dining experience. ​The level of service we received was truly world-class, led by Tommy, an excellent restaurant manager who ensures everything runs seamlessly. The entire team is a credit to the resort, specifically: ​Nae, our waitress, who is incredibly beautiful and charismatic, making every meal feel like a special occasion. ​Chi, who defines professionalism with his attentive and expert service. ​Dele, the photographer, who has a fantastic eye and captured our memories perfectly. ​Overseeing this exceptional operation is the General Manager, Anastasia. She is an amazing leader—deeply professional, attentive to every detail, and incredibly friendly. It is clear that her dedication to guest satisfaction filters down through the entire team. ​If you are looking for a resort that combines stunning surroundings with a team that feels like family, Centara Mirage is the perfect choice. "The really good bits - the staff are second to none. They are committed to doing the best job possible for their guests, they work extremely hard and go the extra mile to see that everything is to your liking. As a solo female traveller i felt safe, they checked in on me and gave me advice on all things Maafushi. Food.... chef made every effort to present the food well and the menu was standard with a buffet breakfast and hot evening meal of choice. Front of house welcome was lovely. The building needs a refurb. My room was adequate but really does need an uplift from the style perspective as its dated and shabby. There is barely any internet at this hotel! Signal constantly dropping out with no hope of working from this location. The hotel and pool is much smaller than it looks on the photos. There is building work right next door.....people should be made aware before they book. The beach is literally 2 minutes away - sunbeds are available but they have to be requested on an individual basis, there are no parasols available and one of the porters has to run down the road carrying the sunbed. There is no beach presence from the hotel perspective, though you can get a free sunbed and parasol which are already set up on the beach by the other hotels if you buy a drink / food. This works - triton are missing a trick here. One final point of feedback: the staff are what keep this hotel afloat and primarily the reason for the good rating. It would be nice to see them appreciated"

"Horrible. Would not recommend. Very loud outside and construction going on. Gave us earplugs at check in. Had to leave one day early because couldn’t sleep properly. Fridge doesn’t work either"

"We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. A special thank you to Suda, Nisal, Fol, Chanan, Akhil, and HK for going above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable—their hospitality truly stood out. Breakfast had a good variety and everything tasted fresh. The airport transfer was smooth and convenient, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was definitely worth the money, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area."
