"Very clean and comfortable stay. Had a beautiful sea view from my room right on Douglas bay promenade. Breakfast was excellent in terms of variety and service. Pub next door was convenient and also served food. Easy access to horse carriage and electric railway for tourist activities and sites. Bicycle friendly with a locked garage."

Positioned just a short walk from the promenade, local attractions, and dining, it offers a superior location compared to many other economical accommodations in the area. Our guest room was exceptionally clean and featured the added comfort of a private bathroom. The morning breakfast was competitively priced, complemented by outstanding, attentive service throughout our stay. Accessibility Considerations Stair-Only Access: The property lacks an elevator, which is typical for traditional buildings in the area. Mobility Note: Navigating the staircases—particularly to the upper floors—may pose a challenge for guests with mobility impairments. For solo travelers or groups without physical accessibility needs, the Devonian offers fantastic value, and I would gladly return for future visits."

"Beautiful grounds , lovely setting , little bit out of Douglas but everything was easily accessible , you do need a car! Staff are super and the hotel is sparkling clean . Food in the Bar/Lounge was first class ( not cheap ) service was very good . Brilliant Breakfast Buffet …nice views from the table . Would highly recommend this hotel ."
