There was a strong stench of raw sewage in our room which was coming through the air conditioning. This was sickening & resulted in us having to turn it off.At breakfast I asked for earl grey tea & was told they don’t have it. I told the waitress that we do actually have it in our room. But she still claimed they don’t have it. The fact that they did have it on site begs the question why the waitress couldn’t provide it for me?

After finding out there had been a break in in my room. I was not moved and spent the rest of my stay in an unsafe room. Management did nothing to resolve the matter and have done nothing since. It was quiet during my stay and could have moved rooms easily. I have no idea why they were reluctant to move me but I almost checked out but my wife convinced me otherwise that the hotel would do the right thing. On this case they didn’t and they fell very short of the mark of what is expected of a 5 start resort…

Zu groß, Zuviel Lärm
Zu groß, zu viele Familien mit kleinen Kindern, gegenüber Gebäude 1 lärmt die Klimaanlage des anderen Hotels und lässt einem das Wort nicht verstehen. Haben dann ein anderes Zimmer bekommen, das fein wir. Außerdem kann man als Mann mit 182 cm in keinem Pool schwimmen, da keiner tiefer als 110 cm ist.

Almost 5 Star, Wonderful Holiday For A Couple
Our stay at Zafiro palace was wonderful - ALMOST perfect, but not quite. Here's the rundown: We stayed in September when it was much more quiet than the Summer months, and likely made a huge difference in our stay. As a couple, it was lovely, quiet, and we had no trouble getting whatever daybeds we wanted. However in the Summer this might be very different with families running around and the hotel much busier. Service was excellent throughout our stay. It seems that most of the growing pains have been taken care of; the staff was always accomodating. Our only issue was that it rained one night and it dumped mud in our private pool. It took an entire day to get somebody to clean it, and presents a problem to many of the rooms with pools. We rented a car so no issue with taxis, etc. at night. I'd recommend just getting a car if you are staying in the summer so you don't have to deal with waiting for taxis with 50 other guests. The breakfast buffett was wonderful everyday. Huge selection, fresh, and delicious. Seating on the patio overlooking the water was perfect every morning. The views and rooms are INCREDIBLE from the hotel. The skypool is unparalleled and an amazing place to relax, have a drink, and spend the day. However - not all room blocks are created equally. There are certain blocks that have a golf course or parking lot view, no ocean view. You will likely be very dissapointed if you get placed in these blocks, so call ahead and ask for the best room blocks!!

El hotel tiene una ubicación perfecta en CAMP DE MAR - Andratx a 5 min andando de una de las mejores playas de Mallorca y para cenar a 5 min en coche de porte Andratx y 10 min en coche de Pueeto Portal. En un entorno maravilloso con vistas al mar y en la sierra de tramuntana. Hotel nuevo con instalaciones maravillosas y un equipo deseando agradarte. we stayed there three weeks ago and it was such an amazing hotel that we returned last week with our family. the rooms were clean spacious and elegant and the hot tub was a bonus that we were not expecting. Wonderful Hotel
After reading some reviews we were nervous but we haven’t experienced anything bad in the stay at Zafiro. All staff could be more helpful and courteous. Food excellent. We had swim up room which was amazing. It was my birthday while visiting the property and I had a lovely surprise in the restaurant with a bottle of cava and a birthday cake. The only thing is if you want things to do this is not the area but it’s only 7 euros to Andratx where you have lots of restaurants.

Poor for 5-star
The hotel was lovely however the standard and service was not reflective of a 5-star hotel. Curtains were hanging off in bedroom, staff clueless when asked any questions or for advice, could not get a spa app and when we did they were drilling in the room next door throughout. Bottles in the room were metal capped (no bottle opener provided) towels in room not refreshed for 2/3 days. Lifts broken throughout stay (with baby and pram) minibar not stocked according to minibar menu.

Since its recent opening we are doing everything we can every day to make each stay truly unforgettable. With regard to the incident with the lifts, I would like to mention that this was caused by technical problems in the first few days after opening the hotel and that it took a couple of days for the engineers to fix it. The problem has now been resolved and the lifts are currently working correctly. We apologise for any inconvenience this specific incident may have caused you during your stay. The challenges that such a major project as the opening of a newly built hotel normally entail have been exacerbated this year by the pandemic, to which we have responded with the greatest possible professionalism and enthusiasm, although I'm sorry to see from your comments that we have not met your expectations. We would be grateful if you could give us another opportunity in the future, in which we will do our very best to ensure you enjoy an unbeatable experience and return home with fantastic memories of your holiday on the island.
