This condo was supposed to be a celebration for me and my family as I was celebrating me finishing chemotherapy and recovering from a double mastectomy and riding my body of Breast Cancer. We decided to splurge and go for 10 nights, 11 days, and spend more than we ever had on a rental. This placed looked amazing, so we splurged and spent $5,830 for the 10 nights. When we arrived we were excited for location and the beauty of the condo. Only to find out over the next few days there were many things wrong with the place. The jacuzzi was broken and ran almost 24 hours a day and kept people sleeping in the 3 bedrooms on the 1st floor up at night because it kept turning on. They sent someone out, only for the guy to NOT fix it and tell us we were on our own. One of the sinks in the master bathroom was broken and had a terrible smell. The dishwasher was broken and my husband had to fix that the 1st day. The charcoal BBQ was broken, and we had to make a trip to hardware store and fix that as well. And, to top it off, there was a pipe broke in the front yard that was leaking water, so we let the property management know, so they sent someone over to fix it. Problem was, they dug up a good portion of the front yard, and pilled dirt & rocks onto the driveway, blocking our car for 1 whole day. They could have knocked and let us know before they started the work, we could have moved our car. We were there for 10 nights/11 days for a house that slept 10 people & had 4 bathrooms, & even though the told us that things like toilet paper would not be replenished, they gave us 6 rolls of TP for the 4 bathrooms, 6 rolls! It's not that we couldn't afford to buy more, its just the principal. We were staying not just for a long weekend with a few people, we had 10 people for 10 nights/11 days. I was not super happy with the customer service of the Property Mgmt. team when I called them several times for the broken things in the house. For $580, I expected perfection!
