Horrible company! Drove all the way from Michigan they claimed my reservation was cancelled months ago! Funny thing is hotels .com had no idea! Rude as can be on the phone.
Amazing views from living room window.
However, the place was only superficially clean. Cobwebs in windows- I know it’s difficult to clean when there are fly screens but even so..
We saw cranky wiring in the place. No smoke alarm visible in the kitchen and living area and additional lighting and power have been crudely lashed together. So although it is potentially an amazing place, we were so disappointed considering the high price.
We (2 adults and 3 children) really enjoyed the stay, just very sorry that we only stayed one night. It was a perfect stay as a "base camp" for hiking or skiing. It is noy on our wish list to come back and stay longer.
Great place to stay, we only stayed one night but would go back to the same place again without a doubt. The views out the windows is fantastic. The check in process was easy, different location than the property but that was not an issue at all. It was just a little hard to find it but that was just us probably!! Would highly recommend the unit we stayed in!
My family of 14 came here for Martin Luther King weekend 2018. We had a blast. Great amenities. The only down fall is the resort was not a ski in and ski out. We had to drive to the lifts each day. We would stay here again!
Excellent stay. Chris was very friendly and took time to explain everything to us. It was great to walk into a clean well kept cottage. Beautiful view of the mountains and ski hills. Great location. quiet scenic location and still close to all amenities. Highly recommended place.
Locates on the foothill, nice view, we can see the lake from the windows, full kitchen gear.

Like sleeping on a rock, literally
I will never stay in Unit #12 ever again. The bed was rock hard. Like sleeping on a rock, I kid you not. My husband and I were in terrible pain all night long trying to get comfortable. The worst quality of sleep. We only stayed two nights but those two nights left us in pretty bad shape. We couldn't wait to get to Tahoe to sleep in a decent bed. To pay $204.17 per night plus taxes for a bed like this is what I call Highway Robbery.
We rented unit #48 for 3 nights in August. View from the kitchen and lounge was great! A few tired fixtures and fittings but overall very comfortable and spacious. Good value for money for large family. Key collection was easy in town and condo was easy to find. Recommended!
The rooms were not well kept. There was lots of trash in the garage and the back patio.

A little disappointing
Overall, Timber Ridge was an ok place to stay, it's very quiet. It's high up in the hills and has a breathtaking view. However, I was a bit disappointed with the unit we stayed in. Considering we paid over $500 for 2 nights. It was in need of updating and a deep cleaning. There were cobwebs in the corners, dust balls in every corner, a hole in the fiberglass shower wall by the shower head, a broken screen door on the porch, old carpet and no A/C.
Zwischen Las Vegas und San Francisco war Timber Ridge genau richtig. Wir haben fleißig den Gasgrill benutzt und die Aussicht vom Pool und Balkon genutzt. Yosemite ist nichweit.
Fabulous location and amenities. We will be back!!! The check in is very slick. We didn't get time to use the pool, spent every minute possible taking in the breathtaking landscape.
We arrived on a Friday at about 6:40pm. Check-in was open and just waiting for us to arrive. The unit we got had a stunning view of the nearby ski lift/ski resort, nearby trees with bluejays living in them, the hill across from us, and the mountain range further out. Our unit was quite spacious, very well appointed, and very clean. The kitchen was completely equipped and we were able to cook our meals inside while it snowed outside.
The ski lift/resort was less than a 5 minute drive away, and because it was closed, my family and I basically had mountainside all to ourselves :). We had a phenomenal time and can't wait to do it again!
Very nice location ski in, ski out. 101 Great Escapes gets 5 stars. Super friendly service and very accomodating! The clerk there gave me his personal phone for any needs. The condo was well stocked, with lots of firewood, lighting materials, plenty of extra towels, etc. The condo was nice but not fancy. My only criticism is that the kitchen could use some updating. Otherwise, amazing view of the town and great location. I would stay here again.
I went to mammoth 4th of July weekend with my husband and 3 children (2,6, and 9 year olds) and we were all extremely happy when we opened that condo door. The condo has a nice open layout to enjoy your family while cooking, watching TV or bbqing in the porch. The rooms were all downstairs and with 3 bathrooms it was perfect. Parking space in garage was a little tight with our van but we found open parking in a nearby lot. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna were the perfect touch after a long hike. Staying here again and again.
