Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it as a base to explore the Eastern Sierra anytime of year. You skiers will love how close it is to the chair lift. It is right across the street! Vacasa kept us well informed through the whole process…

Spring Skiing

I wish we booked when the Canyon Base was running since it was across the street but the short drive to mountain was easy.

Very nice condo

The condo is very clean and well maintained. Although you need to walk up the stairs to get to it, the unit is perfect and right by the ski lifts if staying during the ski season.

Mountain Bike Escape

Amazing location whether you want to ski or come up in the summer to hike, mountain bike or fish. Our late summer trip was awesome. Easy access to the village to pick up the shuttle to the Bike Park. Plus the trails will drop you off at Canyon Lodge almost at the condos doorstep. The place was very clean and comfortable. We found parking super easy and appreciated being in a garage. Great place to stay!

Happy Fisherpeople

We come up in the summer and don’t really stay inside that often…we fish all day moving around from lake to lake. But we were liking the location to the lakes and to town. Lots of space. I think you might get more renters in your slower summer months if you dropped the price a little…just a suggestion.

Spring Skiing

Location, location, location as long as Canyon Lodge is still operating. We got lucky and they extended operation a week. Great place, needs some new mattresses. Good thing the couch is comfy. Bath mat needs replacing as it's in bad shape. Shower head needs to be raised as I'm 5' 10" and had to duck in the shower to rinse the shampoo out.

Clean but little outdated property

Everything was clean but outdated. Carpet was good very old. TV is very very old. As if the homeowner collected everything over a period of time. But I like that it lot of fans which was very much needed in Summer. It would better if there are some more games for kids. This is exactly like shown in picture. So I am ok. Also the dvd player, cd player and VCR are kept there just for show no cd, dvd or cassettes

Back for another four nights

We were here for a week just two weeks ago and were very happy to return to the same unit. It's very comfortable, perfectly located a short walk from Canyon Lodge and the gondola, and has an outdoor hot tub that is delightful even when the snow is coming down hard.

Great location and layout but horrible beds

While we loved the location and lay out of the condo, ALL the mattresses and pillows were absolutely horrible and beyond worn out. We got no sleep which made the trip miserable. The toilets need repair, the pans were beyond worn and half missing silverware. We would absolutely stay again if it were all fixed. Otherwise, don’t rent there and compromise your sleep and wellbeing.

It looks older and more "tired" than the pictures. The master bedroom bed is really bad. It seriously needs a new mattress and pillows. Only 2 spoons, no dish washing cloths and no hot pads. Called to talk to "property manager" and got someone in another country who couldn't understand me.

Comfortable Condo right next to Mammoth

My wife and I and our three kids (5-11) stayed here for a week and skied almost every day. The condo is closer to Canyon Lodge than much of Canyon’s parking lot! The condo itself is not fancy or ultramodern but is very comfortable. A good-sized master suite plus a second bedroom that can sleep 3 (one king/queen and one twin), plus two additional bunks in the hallway next to the front bathroom. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub every night. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we are looking forward to coming back to this unit in two weeks.

Great Choice

Sierra Megeve is a great location - very near to Canyon Lodge - and our favorite destination in Mammoth. However, if you are looking for high-end and swanky furnishings, this is not for you. If you are looking for comfortable, clean, everything you need, covered parking, and in a great location, then this is a great choice. My only negative comment is that there is a unit above this one and you can always hear the occupants - not a big deal for us but may be an issue for others.
