The villa was so gorgeous and perfect for our stay. Margalida and her husband were so kind to us and brought us to and from the bus stop and the supermarket when we didn’t have a car. Would love to come back!

A Wonderful Week at Finca Son-Drach

Lovely finca in its own grounds and close to east coast beaches

This is a very nice finca with 4 bedrooms and a great pool a stones throw from the beaches of the east coast of Majorca. The owners have the house next door and both houses are on olive groves surrounded by cypress trees. The house has everything need for a and the private pool is perfect.

Excellent house with a great swimming pool

Superb hospitality, spacious and well-equipped house, and a super-nice and clean swimming pool for kids as well as adults. Taxi-service in Porto Cristo could be better, but mostly we used our own cars for tips to town.

A lovely villa in a good location

Margalida is a great host. She is there to check you into the gorgeous villa and made sure there was fresh juice and milk for our little ones when we arrived late on a Saturday night. The Villa really is wondeful. The pool, outdoor kitchen and dining area are perfect for a family. We had a wonderful holiday and I certainly recommend it for any family group.

Family holiday

We had a great stay at the Son Drach villa during May half-term. Margalida was a great host, she was there to welcome us and gave us some tips on places to eat in Porto Cristo. The villa was immaculate with great facilities. The pool isn’t heated but it was still plenty warm enough to have a swim and enjoy it (even for our daughters who are 3 and 5). BBQ area is great too! Villa is only 5min drive to Porto Cristo which has a nice beach and easy to park as well as a couple of supermarkets. Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend.

Oustanding host and location !

Whoever is not satisfied with Margalida's place is never satisfied in live. The place is outstanding, the pool is a dream, the host is the best we ever had and we had quite some places we visited. Simple example, the internet didn't work when we arrived. It took Margalida less than 1 hr to come along with a qualified technican to fix it. The kichten is ideally equipped all is there. The bbq area is fantastic. The birds in the morning - that was music to our ears. The bathrooms just perfect. Only the mosquitos at night have been some nights challenging, but this is all over the island.

Beautiful villa close to Porto Cristo

Eight of us stayed at Son Drach for a family wedding in Porto Cristo. 6 adults and 2 children. The house is large, comfortable, and very clean. Everything you need is here. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped, we didn’t cook much but you certainly could do. The bedrooms are spacious, and the master has a very big en-suite with bath and shower cubicle. The pool is the pièce de résistance, large enough to do lengths, with easy to access via steps for smaller children, we absolutely loved it. Pool towels are provided. We spent long hours under the patio canopy looking over it. Superb. We found the owner to be extremely responsive, and a small issue with an iron was resolved in 10 minutes. The downstairs bedroom has bunk beds, and a double bed but unlike the 3 bedrooms upstairs, has no air con. The owner provided a mosquito net very quickly after we asked for one, we could have done with it from the start, the villa is in open countryside and the mosquitoes are viscous! One small constructive criticism, the master bedroom has a fantastic terrace over looking the pool, but it currently has no furniture so it is unusable. It would be lovely to have a settee and chairs up there We really loved Porto Cristo and Son Drach, and hope to return. Highly recommended.

Toller Pool und hilfsbereite Gastgeber

Um mit den positiven Dingen zu beginnen, die Finca ist sehr sauber und entspricht in vielen Punkten den Beschreibungen und Bildern. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der sehr schöne Pool, der für Kleinkinder und Nichtschwimmer sehr gut genutzt werden kann. Es gibt jedoch ein paar Punkte, die bemängelt werden können. So entspricht z.B. das kleine Gartenhäuschen nicht mehr den Bildern. Es ist sehr heruntergekommen und erfüllt keinen Zweck. In diesem Zustand möchte dort kein Kind spielen. Für eine familienfreundliche Finca wäre es auch schön gewesen, wenn die Finca über irgendeine Art von Gartenspielzeugen verfügen würde. Platz wäre genug da und andere Fincas bieten so etwas. Leider entsprechen auch die Liegen am Pool und die Stühle auf der Terrasse nicht den Bilder. Die Liegen sind relativ unbequem und teilweise durchgelegen. Ansonsten ist der Außenbereich gepflegt und ansprechend gestaltet. Im Innenbereich fällt auf, dass der Kühlschrank unbedingt ersetzt werden muss. Er verfügt zwar über eine ausreichende Größe, weist aber erhebliche Gebrauchsspuren auf.Insgesamt muss festgehalten werden, dass es sich um eine gepflegte und schöne Finca handelt, die enormes Potential besitzt. Mit einigen gezielten Investitionen wäre auf jeden Fall eine noch bessere Bewertung möglich.

Schöne Unterkunft für jeden Alters

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt! Die Finca bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Der wirklich sehr große und schöne Pool hat die heißen Nachmittage absolut angenehm gemacht. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett gewesen, es hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Die Waschmaschine mit Baby ein absoluter Pluspunkt! Die Lage ist etwas abseits von Porto Christo, sodass man definitiv auf ein Auto angewiesen ist. Allerdings ist man nach 5 Minuten bereits im Hafen. Wer es ruhig/abgelegen aber dennoch relativ zentral mag, der ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Ameisenplage. Ameisen waren überall, vor allem in der Küche. Hier sollte tatsächlich etwas gegen gemacht werden. Wahrscheinlich bleibt es aufgrund der Lage nicht aus, dass Ameisen anzutreffen sind, allerdings musste man sämtliche Lebensmittel sehr gut verschließen bzw. im Backofen verstauen, da sie sonst am nächsten Tag nicht mehr genießbar waren. Allem in allem können wir dennoch die Unterkunft mit bestem Wissen und Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Traumhafter Familienurlaub

Wir waren mit insgesamt 8 Personen aus vier Generationen in der Finca und es war von Anfang bis Ende perfekt! Die Finca ist größer und schöner, als man es auf den Bildern erkennen kann, super sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die große Küche, der große Pool und die Grillecke im Außenbereich. Die Gastgeberin ist super nett und zuverlässig, während des Aufenthaltes stand sie uns sogar jederzeit bei WhatsApp für Fragen zur Verfügung. Am Ende durften wir sogar etwas länger in der Finca bleiben, da unser Flug erst recht spät ging. Ein Mietwagen ist (wie meistens auf Mallorca) Pflicht, damit erreicht man schnell eine Vielzahl von Supermärkten, Buchten usw in der Umgebung. Vom Flughafen Palma aus sind es nur ca. 45 Minuten mit dem Auto. Wir können diese Finca mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen!

1 Woche mit Freunden

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr schön. Die Finca hat allen unseren Vorstellungen entsprochen und stimmt mit den Angaben der Anzeige überein.Alles war funktionsfähig und in tadelosem Zustand.Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Kontakt mit Margalida, der Vermieterin. Sie war bereits vorab zu erreichen und konnte alle meine Nachfragen beantworten. Wir hatten leider mit kurzen Hagelschauern zu kämpfen, was vor allem den Pool und das Pooldeck mit Blättern verdreckt hat. Margalida und ihr Mann haben uns sofort Unterstützung angeboten und den Pool und das Pooldeck gereinigt. Dafür nochmal ein riesen Dankeschön von uns.Wir werden die Finca "Son Drach" auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und wären auch einem 2. Besuch nicht abgeneigt

Familien Urlaub zu meinem Geburtstag

Die Finca-Villa Son Drach ist sehr schön, außen wie innen. Wir waren mit 8 Personen in der Finca und hatten genügend Platz. Den großen Pool konnten wir zu Anfang Mai schon ausgiebig nutzen. Wege zu Porto Cristo oder zum einkaufen sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen (ca.10min.) Die Gastgeberin Margalida ist sehr nett. Toller Urlaub, sehr gerne wieder.

Familie

Wir waren mit insgesamt 7 Erwachsenen und einem Kleinkind da. Hat soweit alles gepasst, nur folgendes hat uns gestört: Im Nachbargrundstück sind Hunde, diese sind sicher hinter Zäune untergebracht, ängstliche Mitreisende haben sich bei uns aber schon gescheut am Zaun vorbeizulaufen. Weiterhin haben diese Hunde einmal bis weit nach Mitternacht unterbrochen gebellt, bei mir war an Schlaf nicht zu denken. In der Küche waren dauernd und überall Ameisen. Die Außentüren im gesamten Haus sind nicht dicht, dort können die Ameisen ungehindert aus-u.einmaschieren. Wir hatten zu Beginn unseres Aufenthaltes einmal eine Stange Weißbrot in der Küche verpackt liegengelassen. Am nächsten Morgen haben die Ameisen im gesamten Stollen bereits Nester gebaut- war schon ekelig.

Toller Aufenthalt

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Wir konnten uns jeden Tag frische Feigen vom Baum pflücken und haben sogar eine Flasche Olivenöl von der Ernte der Gastgeberin geschenkt bekommen. Auch für die Kids war alles da (Stühle, Spielzeug, Betten)

Urlaub mit Freunden

Wir waren zu siebt für zwei Wochen in der Finca. Margalida hat uns sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen und uns noch einige Tipps für Frühstück in der Umgebung gegeben. Die Finca ist schön ruhig gelegen, man kommt zügig mit dem Auto zum Einkaufen und zum Strand. Der Pool und die Aussenanlage sind spitze, wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen.

Traumhafte Unterkunft in ruhiger Umgebung

Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt in der Finca. Das Grundstück ist groß, gepflegt und hat Feigenbäume und Kaktusfeigen, die man direkt essen kann – super schön! Der Infinity Pool ist großartig und die ruhige Lage perfekt zum Abschalten. Trotzdem ist man in nur 8 Minuten mit dem Auto im Zentrum von Porto Cristo. Die Küche ist groß und bestens ausgestattet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Schlafzimmer sind klimatisiert, was auch im Spätsommer sehr angenehm war. Besonders gut fanden wir die Grill-Ecke und die Terasse, die wir öfter genutzt haben. Die Vermieterin war super nett und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung!

Eine wunderschöne Finca

Wir waren im August vor Ort. Wir hatten einen ganz wunderbaren Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Haus! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Außenanlage mit dem Pool ist ein Traum. Die gesamte Kommunikation mit Margalida war perfekt. Wir kommen sicher wieder.
