"We stayed for four nights, at Margaritaville prior to moving to my timeshare. We had an excellent stay. Our rooms were very nice and clean. The staff were very friendly. When we return to St. Thomas (may not be for awhile - lots of other destinations on the list), we will definitely keep it in mind."

"THIS is the place to stay in St. Thomas. The property is gorgeous, the rooms are spotless and the staff can’t do enough for you. Our stay was absolute perfection- one of the best resort experiences I’ve ever had. The grounds are just breathtaking- every corner is filled with tropical colors. There are multiple pools- all with a beachfront view. The restaurants are great- we had amazing meals every night! The Salt Shack features a fire show on Thursday night with island BBQ grill themed food and it was fantastic! The views are beautiful and we cannot recommend this place enough. One note- just don’t fly out on a Saturday- the airport can’t handle all the travelers and security took us 3 hours to get through."

"Its an Oasis for the money. If you can afford higher end you might not like it fully. Immediate easy access to a beautiful beach area. Full kitchen , bar and coffee shop on site. If you want to shut it down for the day at the resort , you will have everything you need. Even kayak and jetski rentals. It worked out very well , no complaints ."

"If there aren't any Carnival boats docking near the hotel majority of the business establishments and restaurants are closed. It would be nice if the staff would recommend even locals food vendors and trucks to kind of help with the experience of the island. Most of the activities are best done before 4:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. the latest."

Secret Harbour Beach Resort

"We love secret harbor. We got married here and returned for our 5th anniversary this year. I must admit it is expensive compared to other resorts on the island but it has EVERYTHING! The beach is quiet and chairs, umbrellas and towels are included rather than an extra cost. The snorkeling right off the shore is amazing! If you don't have your own equipment there is a dive shop on property. Rental was only 15$ a day. My husband and i took an intro scuba dive which he LOVED! no experience needed. There is casual and fine dining on property and both are delicious! Shout out to the cook who was willing to make us bacon wrapped plantains even tho they are no longer on the menu, because we loved them so much 5 years ago! Also to Samuel, the bartender who taught my husband how to eat whole red snapper, which was delicious btw! All the staff were so amazing! Asha the receptionist, Brad, the other bartender, Elijah, the waiter. Everyone makes you feel like family. We hope to spend more special anniversaries here!"
