The location was great for restaurants and stores. Parking was not convenient at all. The hotel is very old so they have some major water issues. The manager was not very helpful or friendly. I would not stay there again.

Schönes Hotel mit dem Charme des frühen 20. Jahrhunderts. Wer sowas mag, ist hier richtig. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber aber etwas klein. Die Toilettenspülung im Bad ist eine Vakuumspülung wie im Flugzeug. Je nachdem, wie viele Leute im Haus in kurzem Zeitraum spülen, kann es nach betätigen der Spülung 5-10 Minuten dauern, bis das Abwasser weggesogen wird. Das kann ein wenig unangenehm sein. Leider war es auch recht laut. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Insgesamt würde ich sagen, charmantes kleines Hotel in guter Lage zu einem fairen Preis.

Inte det bästa hotellet jag sovit på. Inte ens top 10. Alla badrum(tror jag?), mitt iallafall, var tillkopplat ett vakuumsystem som gjorde ett förfärligt ljud varje gång man använde vatten på något sätt. Dusch? Högtonat ljud från systemet, kunde låta i 5-10 minuter. Riktigt irriterande under natten. Diskhon? Ljud från systemet. Spolade i toaletten? Ljud från systemet. På grund av vakuumsystemet så kunde det ta upp till 15 minuter innan det spolade i toaletten från att man tryckte på knappen. Jobbigt läge när man är flera på kö. Frukosten var ok för ett litet hotell. Åt inte något från menyn. Servicen var seg, var oftast en i receptionen som också var i köket. Tog lite tid innan man fick hjälp. Rummen var fina, men ingen AC på mitt rum. En enkel 110 säng till 2 personer. Finns inte mörkläggningsgardiner, så blir inte helt mörkt och blev väldigt varmt under dagen. Ingen utsikt förutom byggnaden mitt emot, inte heller något privacy när gardinen var uppe. Finns ingen tillsluten parkering, fick betala dygnsparkering i närheten för 200kr/dygn Räddad från 2 stjärnor tack vare priset.

If old charm is your thing, this is what you will love. The rooms are small and nothing fancy. The lobby area is roomy for sitting and eating. There is a wonderful outdoor patio. The staff was wonderful. It is also a restaurant and besides the breakfast (that is included), dining for dinner is an option (not included). Great location to walk to the City Center.

Average property. Room was large enough but you could hardly walk around the bed and the bathroom was tiny. Room was south facing and very hot (no airco and 1 of the 2 window panes was stuck). On the site paid parking at the hotel was mentioned for 50 Nok, this was not the case! We were referred to a paid parking nearby which was inconvenient. Breakfast was good but no sweet options (pastries) apart from jam.

Et hyggeligt indrettet, men slidt hotel

Et hotel som egentlig er ret hyggeligt indrettet og med et meget venligt personale, der alene kunne kommunikere med os på engelsk, da de ikke var nordmænd. I hvert fald ikke dem, vi stødte på. Værelserne var meget små undtagen det ene af de 3 værelser, vi havde booket. Værelserne var noget slidte ligesom resten af hotellet, og morgenmaden var ikke noget at skrive hjem om. Der manglede ikke noget, men det var ikke en morgenmad, hvor man på nogen måde følte sig forkælet. Det var ikke nemt at finde parkering i nærheden af hotellet, der ikke råder over egne parkeringspladser. Herudover var den parkering, som det lykkedes at finde mod betaling.

Sjarmerende hotell med loftsleilighet

Var ute etter overnatting for en voksen og to barn, og fikk et helt loft - så vi hadde det helt konge plassmessig og sengene var gode. Det er et eldre hus og det fremstår derfor som et eldre hus (og det er bare koselig) men da må du være forberedt på at det er litt "rugged" også. Badet kunne gjerne hatt lås/nøkkel, gardin på loftsvindu på soverom ville gjort det lettere å sove (veldig lyst når vinduet er i taket..), og liftgardin på det andre soverom virket ikke - små enkle ting å bare fikse. TV og stresslesser slo meget godt an blant barna. Kjøkken med kjøleskap, stekeplater og oppvaskmaskin var det også (ikke noe vi forventet når vi bare skulle ha en overnatting). Det var sengeplasser til 4 + to sofaer som til nøds kan sove på.
