The property was convenient, safe and the staff friendly. Plenty of restaurants within a minutes walk or a 6 minute taxi ride. The hotel was also very clean, had a restaurant on lication andca soa.

Short stay, not great location
A little far from the action in Mandalay. I stayed because I had a late flight in and was meeting friends. I thought it was arranged for me to stay in their room but apparently not, this was for sure their fault and not the hotels. However they paid around $50usd for the night and when we asked to have an extra bed or a cot it was going to be another $25usd. I arrived at 10pm and we were leaving at 5am. Because of the time it was going to take to get another bed set and I'd been traveling for 30+ hours I ended up just getting a room myself, I ended up booking online because it was way cheaper at $41usd than the price they could offer me. I asked if there was any way they could do a half rate because I wasn't getting into the room until 11pm and leaving at 5am, so $41usd for 6 hours seem outrageous. They wouldn't budge on the price at all. If it hadn't of been far from other accommodation and so late at night I would have gone and found someplace else. For the short amount of time I was in the room it was nice. I just think that with the location and so many other options available in Mandalay for better price with same amenities you can find better.

The restaurant on the top floor was a real blessing because 1) there is not very much around the hotel, and 2) because they served simple and tasty food.

Property is newer. Staff is excellent. Location is away from the city, so need to take a ride in a taxi to experience downtown. Did not have much to do after daily tours because of location. For some reason everyday about 6 am the power went off for a couple of minutes. Has a sky bar with great views of area.

Comfortable and spacious
The suns rise view from the hotel room was stunning. Also the WiFi was one of the strongest I’ve seen in Myanmar.

Great service and stay
My stay began with a really early check-in at 6am, which I really appreciated and also allowed me to watch the amazing sunrise from my room. The room was a great size, quiet and extremely clean. The bathroom was lovely too! The view from the Sky Bar and restaurant was amazing. I enjoyed dinner one night in the restaurant and the service was excellent. There was a great selection at breakfast too. I checked out at 5:30am and received a breakfast box for my boat journey to Bagan which was a lovely evening touch.

Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a complimentary breakfast from 6-9 each morning which was a great start to the day. The hotel is about 2 km from the palace and located on a quiet street. Rooms were large and very clean. AC worked well and shower was great with good water pressure. Would absolutely recommend to everyone, great value for the price.

clean tidy well managed !
one of our co-worker stayed ther for few months. And this is the place where he can stay long-term. The owner staying in this hotel, and he take care well. Extreme clean, good breakfast (omelete), clean dishes. JB will def stay again here.

hotel itself is clean, the view is excellent, the food is good. The only thing that made me make a bad review was had a shower and had a very small stain on the towel due to a faded hair dye. The hotel staff insisted for us to pay 5,000 kyat. Towels are expected to have some dirts for we sometimes used it to wash feet, to wipe floors etc... had been traveling extensively and had been to probably a thousand plus hotels but had never met a scenario as that. If it had been big and would be considered unusable I would gladly pay for it. But aside from a very small area so faded you couldn’t even see it unless you look at it closely. Towels are expected to get dirty. The amount they ask for is not that would matter a lot. It’s the way they handled the situation. How much would they collect in a day for minicule situation as that. If you don’t have a treated hair or won’t used any of their available for the guest as part of what you pay for go ahead and stay in this hotel. But I would advice my friends and family to stay away to avoid similar situation. I was wondering later why I forgot to leave a tip in the room which I normally do and will just hand it over to them in the reception only to realized that this would happened. Likewise had some questions regarding airport whereabouts the staff could not even give an answer. When you catered for foreigners at least have someone available to help out customers.

I stayed in this hotel for three nights in November. Staff they were absolutely fantastic. I'm planning trips offered great suggestions and help me out either booking tickets or arranging early breakfast for when I was up early. The hotel was super clean and the gym downstairs was excellent. I've booked a hotel purely for the latter. A few things I would suggest though, be careful of the bar upstairs they listed cheap prices in local currency but I got charged in US dollars which inflated my bar bill. In regards to the soundproofing in the hotel it isn't fantastic so should you have noisy neighbours you might find yourself kept up late. In terms of distance form the town, it is a little way out. Use the GRAB app to order tuktuks or taxi's - otherwise you get ripped off 4k Kyat when it should be 2k Kyat.

Amazing stay in Mandalay
My only regret about staying at this hotel was that I ONLY stayed one night. This was the epitome of cleanliness, friendliness and comfort. The staff is so wonderful and greeted me with the warmest smiles. The room was perfect. Wonderfully hot shower with amazing water pressure. The bed was a dream! The breakfast buffet is nice as well. I enjoyed my breakfast with a view as it’s served on the 11th floor of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again!

Overall is good, not location.
The hotel renovation is almost done. Once there, google map will notify the current location that refers to the previous name of the hotel. Staffs are very friendly n helpful. The decoration is modern. Gym is not yet in operational. It is not situated on the main road. Self walking tour seems not a good idea because hotel far from sightseeing spots. Price should be a bit dropped. Location seems to be the least attractive.

Die Rooftobbar ist sehr schön, die Zimmer sind geräumig und ausreichend. Frühstück für mich, für so ein Hotel unterdurchschnittlich. Lage ist etwas ausserhalb, jedoch mit dem Scooter alles in 15min erreichbar. Würde es weiterempfehlen.

出張で利用しました。車と運転手があったので、場所的な利便性はよくわかりませんが、フロント含め、英語がよく通じ、施設はとても清潔です。屋上階のバーも、騒がしい音楽をのぞけば悪くありません。早朝出発だったため、朝食はりようしませんでした。シャワーの水量や温度、トイレの水量も十分です。アメニティも必要なものはそろっていました。

Modern and convenient
We stay one night in Ritz Grand Hotel during our trip in Myanmar. The hotel is very convenient, the room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is correct. The SkyBar at the top of the building is a nice place to have a drink and eat something.
