「This wasn’t my first stay at GVH, but it will almost certainly be my last. It was my first time staying solo, and the experience fell well below expectations. To give credit, the grounds appear well maintained since Hurricane Melissa. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. For the price I paid for three nights, the WiFi was completely unacceptable. 「The food was great. I had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and I enjoyed the meal. Overall, the staff was friendly, but I did not like the fact that the manager approached me for the bill but did not introduce herself. Also, I had a couple of days without hot water because the hot water heater is solar and it rained for a few days. Nevertheless, the views from the hotel were beautiful. 」

「Only A frame I know of in Jamaica! Kind of like staying in a tiny house.Hot plate worked well just needed a larger skillet for cooking a meal. Microwave didnt work well. Other appliances all worked well & put to use. Plunge pool refreshingly welcomed. Morning views to the Great pond with sunshine reflections awesone. Night view of Lovers Leap Lighthouse also spectacular. Then the night star filled sky. No other people on the lane but owner very aware of goings on so security definitely there....
