"The Jim Butler is a bargain hotel at a not-so-bargain price. We had expected to have breakfast there, because the listing said it was included. The listing even included a photo of the breakfast area! When we got there, there was a sign that said "No Breakfast." We felt this was a bait and switch, because we'd considered the value of the breakfast in our decision to pay extra for the room. We left the hotel the next morning HUNGRY!"

"Front desk staff tends to disappear, leaving customers standing around unsure if anyone is even working, but other than that this hotel is literally from another time. Rooms are immaculate and clean while still maintaining that vibe that you have been transported to the past. Bar is inviting and the service was excellent. We had a great time here chasing ghosts."

"We were traveling through and stayed one night. The room itself was completely new. Everything from the carpet, furniture, and paint. The mattresses and pillows were really comfortable. I'm not sure every room has been updated, but ours was. The food was really good, and the people were friendly. We will stay again."
