「Glad I booked here -- it's definitely one of the better hotels in White Beach. Friendly service, good A/C, warm showers, security, location. Brought my own pocket wifi. Wish I had booked dive in advance - they didn't have availability for beginner by the time I showed up. Notes on White Beach area: - good LTE service - known for night life, water activities, etc. If you want more quiet, western resort style, sabang is better area. - 20 minute ride to town, i.e. the closest ATM.」

Cafe Marco was a step above most of the food establishments, as was the Dawei Tea House, both linked to the hotel. Rooms were clean and modern. 「Great time, extremely friendly hospitable staff! The place itself is maybe for younger guests, loving partying and various musical pleasures. Just seconds from the beach itself, and a whole bouquet of different restaurants with excellent food. Luxurious access to guided snorkeling tours, etc. Bring mosquito repellants with you - these insects could bite around sunset and an hour or so after, if you would want to be on the porch.
