Family Vacation
We enjoyed our time at the cabin. My oldest son enjoyed taking the kayak out fishing, while my other two children enjoyed swimming down by the bridge. There was plenty of room to spread out and everyone could have their own space. We definitely had a great time!

Very spacious. Communication with Freshwater Vacation Rentals was excellent. House was a little outdated. It would've been nice for screens to be replaced in front room (east side of house) so all windows could be open without bugs entering. Towels were old and worn. Location to attractions was great. We saw everything we wanted to see in UP. Overall, very good stay.

The house was in a quiet spot, really relaxing with the water out back. Needed some updates inside for sure. Toilets are finicky. The accommodations were perfectly fine for what we were looking for. Spent the weekend here comfortably.

We stayed at this location when we came into town for a funeral. Check in/out was very easy and contactless. The house was very spacious, clean and perfect for a group. Neighbors were friendly and backyard relaxing for yard games, fishing, grilling and the kayak on site was a bonus. We would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

Wonderful house.
The house was very roomy. We spent half of our time there just relaxing. We enjoyed watching the Canadian geese couple and their babies. We had a couple of questions and was answered very promptly. It was very easy to rent

Nice location. Bring wood if you want to have a fire.
Overall it was good! Nice and clean. Wish it had better tv’s and a higher cable subscription. Couldn’t get discovery or the greatest lo channel.

Family getaway
The house was a perfect getaway for two families to stay in without tripping over one another. We were worried about the safety of the bunk beds though, so we had to move the top mattress to the floor. Other than that, when we weren't exploring Manistique, we really enjoyed our time outside by the river and spreading out inside the house.

This house is so nice. The kitchen is large and perfect for gathering and cooking. We loved the location for paddling out to the lake and on the river. Would definitely like to stay there again.

Gem of a place!
Really enjoyed our stay ! Accommodations exceeded our expectations! Host/rental company went above and beyond by purchasing a kayak paddle for the property when we couldn’t find one onsite. Lovely views from backyard- plenty of day trip activities. We loved our first trip to UP Michigan and hope to go again.

Superb access to UP sites and experiences
House exceeded write up and our expectations - plenty of room, well stocked with cooking utensils and all the necessities and many unexpected items. Indian River in back yard really rocketed the entire property to an A-plus, plus. The views overlooking the river were spectacular looking out front yard, and looking the other direction Indian Lake - all make for a wonderful experience.
