「Generally a bad experience in our one-night stay. Our room is separated from the Main Building (around 150m), it is at the opposite side of the river and above the pub (named "PUBLICHOUSE LAUGHTALE" in google map), so it is a bit noisy at night. The room is not clean as we found residue in kitchen sink and hair in bathroom sink by previous visitors. The track of wooden window is full of dead insects. The toilet is disproportionately tiny consider the huge room size, it is also not tidy and...

「A traditional onsen hotel with a historic look. Our family of 3 stayed in a standard room, nothing more than general. The dinner is Japanese style set with good looking. Yet, one kind of the mixed sashimi was still frozen hard when being served and I had never experienced this in a Japanese ryokan before. Staff were nice, but not very outgoing when compared with other ryokans. The stay was general.」
