I don't think I will be staying there again. The property is not terrible clean or well maintained. There was dirt I the elevator, and drips running down the inside elevator door. The room was extremely austere, with only one chair and a sofa/bed that did not face the TV. You do not get any maid service at all unless you ask for it, which is apparently on their website, but since I booked through Expedia, I did not see it. Breakfast is rather humorous. They did have a couple of kinds of cereal, but they had a community milk jug that everyone poured out of. I think there may have been hard boiled eggs in a Tupperware container that you had to open and take for yourself. They were not replenishing supplies like coffee cups, and cereal bowls. I think the place is understaffed. We were calling at night for an extra blanket and nobody answered the phone. We spoke with the manager about our concerns as we were departing (we departed early). He told us that if we would have booked with the hotel directly, he had the authority to give us a discount or adjust the bill. Since we went through Expedia, we ate the cost of our early departure.

I find it VERY hard to recommend staying here. The pool was just filled after a repair so it was too cold to even use. The hot tub was broken and drained. I understand repairs, but when I was checking, the owner/manager said he had it posted on the website which was a lie. When showed that there was nothing on the website, I was dismissed. I would not have booked it because I recently had surgery and the hot tub was key reason for my stay especially after a long drive. The room itself was clean and your typical experience. The keyless entry didn’t work after the first try. Upon returning for the evening, it took three trips to the front desk to get cards that worked. But the kicker and another disappointing thing was the “breakfast included”. The breakfast was of low standards, but there was nothing refilled or put out. When asked to please bring out food or even forks (other customers were asking as well), the owner/manager made us we were putting him out when actually it was included. This was at 9 am and breakfast was till 10 am. I don’t recommend staying here!

Parking was secure. Hot tub drained.Pool was unusable as it was very ice cold. Room #123 had an ant infestation. Our room was fine.

The pool was unheated and had bugs floating in it. The hot tub was unusable and filled with sludge (though he did tell us when we arrived that the hot tub was out of order). They had a waffle maker but no batter and the toaster took several rounds to get partially toasted bread. Our bathtub had hair in it. Beds were fine. I chose this hotel based on ratings and was very surprised at what we encountered. The staff was friendly, but given all of our other issues, I wouldn’t stay here again.

After driving 3 hours, we decided to stay at the Microtel to sit in the hot tub. Only to find out that the pool area was closed but still got charged full price. We should have been notified. Later I went to get ice and was no ice in the machine. No closet to hang cloths. Took forever to get hot water for a shower. Room was ice cold when we arived. We will never stay there again!

Hot tub was not ready to go. They didn't know if it would work. Had to call someone in to fix it. Said the pipes freeze sometimes which I understand but if there are alot of people staying there it should of been working. Bathroom door wouldn't lock. Heater/fan in bathroom wasn't working.
