We’ve got a pleasant stayed until the last night of our stayed the water run out and at night there’s no more water. So the next day morning I asked the property and they fixed the problem.they said they relies on rain water and this sometimes happen. So I suggest checking about the water prior your stay might be the good way to stay in this property.

We are always checking our water supply and this hasn’t happened before. had the Guest let us know when they first knew the night before we would’ve filled the tank so they had water. Unfortunately sometimes people use the spas on many occasions throughout their stay and this can often lead to an unexpected emptying of the tank at that time. We are extremely thorough to ensure our Guests are comfortable but sometimes the unexpected can happen.

3 Nights At Acacia Cottage
Wonderful 3 night stay at Acacia cottage. Good location - about 12 km out of Mansfield overlooking Lake Eildon. Cottage has everything required to self cater. Good BBQ area and pool for cooling off!

We liked the peaceful serenity of the location. Very helpful contact re location of property and entry details prior to our arrival date. All essentials available and in good working order. Not able to use log fire without paying extra for wood Our big dislike was having to leave!

We're glad you enjoyed the serenity. We always supply fire wood for free during the winter months but at other times unfortunately outside of those winter months we do ask for payment to allow us to keep a supply in case it's needed.

Stunning views over the valley!
Oh my goodness, the view from these cottages is absolutely stunning! Waking up to rolling hills and views of the lake is breathtaking and the most relaxing way to start the day. The cottage was equipped with everything I needed, comfy bed and very clean. I’d definitely stay here again!

The property is located in a very pretty place situated above Lake Eildon and close to the town of Mansfield. The Cottage was very clean and had everything we could have wanted for our stay. It was very peaceful with a great mixture of nature there, a nice getaway from the city. The owners were very friendly and nice to talk to. Can't complain about anything and would look forward to staying again. The approach road is gravel so would recommend a strong car or SUV.

Cosy cottage with amazing view
The cottage was cute, cosy and is well maintained. It is located on a hill and has really amazing views to the country side. Loved sitting outside on the balcony in the evening.

Perfect view from living and bedroom. Warm fire, wood restocked each day. Lovely big spa and a view from the bathroom window too. Lovely hosts. Comfortable bed. Would recommend this special accommodation. Great value.

The Redgum Cottage was super clean, cosy but also very spacious and we were a family of five and plenty of room for all of us to move around in including two big bedrooms and a big bathroom. The cottage was well presented and had everything we needed for our three night stay. The views are exceptional and the serenity surreal. We have stayed in caravan park cabins before that were so small compared to their cabins. The hosts Karyn and Richard are so super friendly and so down to earth and very welcoming. We can not highly recommend enough and we will be returning as we love the snow at Mt Buller which is only 30 min drive to the Buller Gates. If you are looking for a High Country Stay or an Alpine adventure in the Snow, you have to check out Burnt Creek Cottages before looking somewhere else!

We stayed in the Correa cottage and it was perfect in every way. The views were amazing (and the stars at night were breathtaking!), the cottage was clean and well maintained, the kitchen had every appliance/utensil we needed - we loved that they even had plastic containers we could use to take sandwiches on our hike to save using cling wrap, or to store leftovers from dinners we cooked. We played Rummy-O, which we found in the cupboard, every afternoon while enjoying the views and the peaceful sounds of nature. Thanks Karyn and Richard for a memorable stay

Picture Perfect View
We arrived at Burnt Creek Cottages after a long drive from Melbourne, to rolling hills and a warm welcome from Linda. We were shown our cottage (Wattle Cottage) where Linda was just finishing off a load of warm towels and a slow burning fire place. As we were there for a snow trip, Linda offered to print off our mountain passes as we needed them, honestly excellent service. As we walked into the cottage the one thing that caught our eye was the stunning view our cottage had. It overlooked the property the cottages were on as well as nearing farms and hills. The farm animals, cows and alpacas, were just a walk away, reminding us of a simpler time. The cottage it’s self had a country feel. The cottage was clean and was in acceptable condition. All the rooms were neat and tidy. The fire wood was brough to our front door each night. There was five of us which easily fit in the queen bed, two single beds and the fold out sofa. The morning brought on foggy picturesque views. We would all defiantly return back to Burnt Creek Cottages, when we make it donwn to Mansfield again.

Beautiful cottage with magnificent views. Linda very friendly. My only little suggestion is some form of heating in bathroom. Either exceltastic light or even a small portable oil heater.
