I am astounded at the outcome of my recent stay at this property. I checked into the house on my arrival date. Unpacked and then went to the supermarket for some supplies. I returned and was eating some food when the owner came to the door and told me that i was not booked in to stay there, that there was no booking and she had not received the money for my booking. She then proceeded to evict me from the property immediately at 21:00 hours. I was there on business and was left with no choice but to accept her offer of sleeping in her daughters bedroom. I was told this would be an additional 50 euros a night. On attempting to pay the additional 150 euros i was told that you had covered the cost. I have found the whole experience incredibly stressful. I had to leave all the food i purchased in the original house. I'm not sure who is responsible for this mix up but i consider it to be completely unacceptable.
I consider myself polite and don't like complaining. So it had to be bad for this response. The final straw for me was finding that the cat had urinated in my suitcase when i went to look for another shirt on the morning i was leaving. I should not have been put in this position and i hold Expedia responsible for this catastrophic disaster.
