We loved our stay here! The room had a beautiful view of the ocean and the bed was very comfortable. The fresh fruit at breakfast was outstanding and they really accommodate any requests well. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The pool overlooking the bay was perfectly cool and a great way to unwind in the hot afternoons. The view is stunning. The tile edging on the pool needs some maintenance but that did not take away from our enjoyment. We'd highly recommend this place!

It was easy to relax here. Besides being very quiet, the view from our room and from the pool was gorgeous. We would definitely come back here if visiting Manuel Antonio and the central Pacific coast.

We really enjoyed the stay. The only thing I would like to mention that even when the breakfast says “continental”, the proteins were charged. Somehow I didn’t expect that. Apart from that, everything was excellent. Location is excellent with a super market across the street. Lot of restaurants around.

Extremely disappointing stay at Villa Rock Boutique Resort. This property advertises itself as a luxury boutique resort, but our experience was far from luxurious. The pool was out of service, which was one of the main amenities we were looking forward to using. The TV in the room did not work, the internet connection was unreliable and extremely slow, and the room safe repeatedly got stuck, making it frustrating to use. For the price charged, basic amenities should be fully functional and properly maintained. Unfortunately, the overall condition and service did not match the expectations created by the resort’s marketing. We felt misled by the “luxury” description, as the property lacked the quality, comfort, and attention to detail that a true luxury resort should provide. I would not recommend this resort to travelers seeking the premium experience that is being advertised.

Some photos show a remodeled room… ours was not. Not the bathroom anyway Also patio did not have screen door. Housekeeping kept the room clean but little inconsistent with what they would replace. Amenities included the infinity pool and hot tub. There’s access to breakfast and drinks in a full menu. Breakfast is not included but available. there is soap and shampoo, pool towels you can check out. For the most part, everybody was friendly, some more helpful than others. I would say I recommend but that’s only because nothing is inexpensive in Manuel Antonio that has this view and an infinity pool. Overall, the area is just incredibly expensive, especially given the lack of modern updates that being said 18 and up it’s a fun time.
