Six of us stayed at the Jungle Roost, and we all completely enjoyed our visit. The house had everything we needed — we weren’t missing a thing. Our host, Ismael, was incredibly helpful with all of our plans and gave us the best recommendations. If we had tried to coordinate everything on our own, it wouldn’t have turned out nearly as well. He truly knows his stuff.We would all highly recommend staying here.Ismael, thank you again — you and your place are the best!

Jungle Roost is amazing. Beautiful landscape and well appointed home away from home. The location is great, close to the beach. Wildlife views of monkeys, birds, and even a sloth, which was a highlight.The host went above and beyond, not just to make sure we were comfortable in the home but also to ensure that we had the best vacation. He gave excellent recommendations for dining and excursions, and assisted in arranging transportation to and from Manuel Antonio. The only negative is that my family was sad that our stay at Jungle Roost has ended. We are already looking forward to our next stay at Jungle Roost.

Beautiful property with everything you need! With all the 5-star reviews, you might be wondering if they delete reviews that are not 5, however I can assure you that is not the case. The location is perfect for walking to Manual Antonio shops (it is uphill), the pool was wonderful, and the house had absolutely everything we needed (no need to buy toilet paper, trash bags, soap, or anything like that). The hosts are amazing. They will reach out to help you plan activities and give you honest advice about what to do, where to eat, where you need a guide, etc. Their recommendations were spot on for everything. Thank you for an amazing stay and helping us plan some last minute activities! We hope to return!

Jungle paradise

Jungle Delight

We had an incredible stay at Jungle Roost!!! The property was beautiful and well maintained with every comfort - AC, laundry, and a gorgeous pool. We enjoyed daily visits with monkeys and spied a group of sloths in the trees! Our family made a lifetime of memories in this amazing home. Fabulous host, one of a kind property!

We loved this place. The location was wonderful. We were greeted when we arrived and shown how to use the property which was very nice. It is very private. We saw monkeys and a sloth right on the property. Perfect!

Great Spot in MA

This is a gorgeous and well-maintained home with much thought put into the architecture and design. We saw monkeys, sloths, agoutis, coatis, and iguanas daily on the property. The kids had a blast in the pool and we loved the secluded beach nearby. Though 5 min from the hotspots of MA, this house is on a steep and secluded jungle road. A 4x4 definitely recommended, if not required. Ismael is a kind, responsive, and accommodating host and deserves every 5-start rating here.

Jungle Roost Surpassed Our Expectations

This is a quiet location away from the noises of cars and traffic. The home is very comfortable and had easy access to everything we needed. The yard is absolutely awesome with birds, monkeys and beautiful flowers and trees. The pool and water fall were very attractive and enjoyable; providing a fun way to relax after the days activities. Our expectations were more than surpassed.

Perfect Family Vacation Home

We are so thankful for Ismael and Francesca allowing us to stay in their beautiful home! They were incredible hosts and gave us so many wonderful recommendations. We had the most amazing family vacation! Our favorite part about the house was all the wildlife we saw right in the backyard. The monkeys and agoutis visited us everyday. Wonderful Location

Loved the house and it's amenities - pool and AC. It has comfortable beds, which is a plus. Beautiful location. The town was really cool with plenty of places to shop and eat. We loved the beaches and there is a lot to explore locally and within a short drive. We traveled with our kids and my in-laws. The house was perfect for us all.

A perfect getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The hosts were extraordinarily helpful and thought of everything we might need to enjoy our stay. This property was nestled in the jungle. The decor, cleanliness and overall feel was that of being at home in a paradise. The hosts organized many outings and a personal chef for us and made sure our every want was taken care of by the best. The hosts and the Villa were beyond anything we could have imagined. If you want to get spoiled, I highly recommend you stay here.

Amazing property!

Jungle Roost is a magical place! If you want to see wildlife, it is right outside your door. Manuel Antonio and the beach are within walking distance if you are reasonably fit. The house and pool are sparkling clean. But most of all, it comes with an amazing host who makes certain that your every need is met! Thank you Ismael for an amazing experience! Everything about the stay was impeccable. The house is great with an amazing pool/deck area in a beautiful setting. Monkeys even came by to pay us a visit in the surrounding trees. The house and the location are exceptional. What made our stay particularly noteworthy was just how wonderful the host was. I’ve never felt so well supported and well informed at any rental property. Ismael went above and beyond expectations when he assisted with a challenging rental car situation and he was always available for his opinion about outings. He helped us book numerous excursions. My family is quite grateful to all the help he provided, and if our travels ever bring us back to Manuel Antonio. We will be sure to stay here again.

A piece of Heaven

This was a remarkable house, location and especially the Host. Surrounded by birds, monkeys, and lush gardens, you wake up to a gorgeous dip in the pool after a sound comfortable sleep. Ismael is exceptional at making g life easy and comfortable. So many things to do within short distance. I have been to many houses on VRBO. But nothing as exceptional as this.

Relax and have fun

We loved the access to the beach. We relaxed in the pool everyday. We were in awe of the surroundings and wildlife- monkeys, sloth, and other creatures. The property mgr, Ismael, was extremely helpful and available to assist. He offered great tips and insight to the area. He even secured a private dance lesson and yoga at our request. We definitely recommend a 4 wheel drive. Our family vacation here was a huge success! 😊
