Manuka hotels in Canberra

"Located in a covenient area, close to the CBD with restaurants within reaaonable walking distance. The hotel has a nice ground floor bar and restaurant area set in amongst nice plants giving guests a feeling of privacy. A very relaxing area. There is also a gym and pool for those wanting some exercise. Our room was quite spacious and included all necessary facilities. However thw bathroom was relatively small and overall the room was gerting a bit tired, time for a refurbish. The staff were friendly and efficient. "

"The bed was incredibly comfortable, and it was great to have a balcony and the option for fresh air - just a pity about the drilling noise from the light rail construction work at the time of this stay. "

"Really great size room. Unfortunately it had been cleaned with a lot of bleach and the smell was overwhelming. Asked to change rooms but alternative was in a noisier part of hotel. The smell reduced the confort of the stay, the room and bathroom were however very clean which was a positive. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, good sized, quality meals that were tasty and good value. Especiallly appreciated kids menu for our 11yr old. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times and the hotel is always extremely well presented. Bleach smell aside we had a good stay and will continue to choose this hotel for future Canberra stays as it close to the DFO, Manuka and all the sporting events but doesn't feel to busy or overcrowded."

"Booked three nights for my family in adjoining rooms for the Canberra Marathon - amazing rooms, great staff that assisted us with checking in, amazing restaurants and food options in the hotel and surrounding area, and great location as a base for marathon weekend. Highly recommended. "

"Our fourth stay at Canberra Novotel. Good location, friendly staff and good quality and quantity breakfast buffet. The disappointment is that the sauna has been permanently retired. "

"Love staying here, close to everything, staff are great and nicely designed apartments. You have to be careful choosing a room though. The back of the building looks at a carpark so if you can avoid that brutalist view I'd do so."
