For essential food supplies and paddle pops, drive 2 minutes to Bendalong shop, where you can also sit down for a quiet coffee, pizza or fish & chips at the relaxing cafe.
Further afield (30 min) is Milton also boasting cafes, a large supermarket, antique shops, restaurants, markets, and bric-a-brac boutiques.
Walkers may prefer a climb up Pigeon House Mountain, or in the other nature reserves and national parks which are nearby.
For the occasional rainy day, there are wineries, an air force museum and swim centre all within a 45 minutes drive.
Manyana is three hours easy drive from both Sydney and Canberra.
