Room was quite nice. Seemed newly remodeled. Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was terrible, worst I’ve ever encountered. I don’t expect a lot in a breakfast in a property like this but even with that I was disappointed. Only eggs and sausage. No orange or apple juice. No pastries. Only rye bread. Only crunchy peanut butter in one communal jar. Overall, the place was quite good for the price.

The staff was courteous and polite. However, my room had a red wall! Not just a wall with red tint. But fire engine red wall! It felt like a brothel. Also, the bed had only a sheet, no blanket whatsoever. It was unsettling.... and I barely slept at all.

Worst ever
I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. The smell when you walked in was heavily scented with air fresheners, no doubt to cover up something much more unpleasant. I waited at the front desk for over 30 mins for someone to check me in. When I called to see if anyone was available to help me, they said they had gone off the property to pick up some things and would be back in 5 mins. 15 mins later, someone finally arrived. At that time, i advised that I wanted to cancel my reservation. They told me that because it was after 4, I could not cancel. Even though reason it was after 4 was that I had been left waiting there.

Well worth it
Pretty much a no frills place with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. Plus housekeeping understands “do not disturb” so you can sleep in if needed.

During the night it was too loud. There were people conversing, banging the doors many times. It does sound they were cleaning rooms. No hot water in the dining place, told us get it from the faucet.

Front desk with highly visible office was an untidy mess. We were not met with friendliness. Property is in need of renovations. Room appeared clean but extremely outdated and obnoxious red wall did not coordinate with bedding and drapery Small blood stain on bedspread and uncomfortable pillows. Was awoken at 650 am with what sounded like a gymnastics class above and could not sleep so we abruptly checked out. Thank goodness it was a single night stay.

The owners/staff was rude and told us we were only allowed to come down for breakfast one time. I was told i could not have extra face towels and an extra blanket because housekeeping only comes in the morning. They waited until breakfast the next day before checkout and told us we had too many people in one room and we needed to pay extra. The rooms had one actual blanket and each bed was covered with a thin white sheet and a decorated sheet thin blanket (if you can call it that). Online says they have a pool also and they do not, its been converted into their living quarters and the kitchen they cook the breakfast in.

They could not find my reservation. After 10 minutes, they gave me a room and told me that I could sign the paperwork in the morning. So that was fine. And to be fair, the room itself is large and clean, However… they have taped open the upstairs entry door with many, many layers of scotch tape, so that it cannot be ripped off. When I complained that it wasn’t safe, they told me I can lock my door to my room, and that was enough. So I went to my room. The deadbolt is not aligned with the latch so I could not turn the deadbolt. When I complained that the door wouldn’t lock, they explained to me multiple times that the door is locked and no one can open it from the outside. Neither of these things are acceptable. I was traveling with my adult daughter, so we were two women alone in a room with minimal locks . While the room itself is lovely. I do not recommend this location.

We arrived late, our key was ready when we got there. We literally just stopped to sleep, and had no problem doing so. The pillows and beds were very comfortable.

Rude and lazy employees (front desk) and the room service stripped our beds on night one of our stay and didn’t GIVE US ANY BEDDING FOR THE SECOND NIGHT. paid $200 for two nights and it was a huge mistake next year I’ll stay elsewhere. DO NO RECOMMEND TO ANYONE TO STAY HERE. 1/10 rating.

They have refreshed this property since my last visit. The staff are pleasant and do a great job providing a very clean room. The price is very reasonable! The only thing that I found less than excellent was the breakfast. The selection is ok but they ran out very early on one of the two days out of my four day stay. On my third morning there wasn’t anything really to eat. Except for the breakfast I would highly recommend this place.

The beds need to be lower in height about 2 inches. It was a little hard getting into bed. I stand about 5 feet. They need an arrow in lobby pointing to the breakfast room. The staff were very friendly.

It’s a gem.
This is an older hotel. It’s not huge but if you’re looking for a charming place, great service, and cleanliness.. this is your place. We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights, we did have dogs with us. Very reasonable pet deposit. The people that own/run this place are SUPER nice and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Water pressure was decent and never ran out of hot water. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioner worked very well.. too well actually, had to turn it down in the middle of the night because I woke up cold! We arrived on a Friday so went down Saturday morning for breakfast and they had fried eggs (REAL eggs, not the powdered egg stuff), sausage links, toast with real butter, bagels, cream cheese, yogurt, bananas, juice and fresh coffee. It was like a breakfast you’d have at home or a B&B. So nice. Check in was a breeze, as was check out. Room key cards worked every time.. a lot of places we stay at seem to struggle with that. It’s right next to a few stores, a McDs, and Mega’s grill is right across the street. Great location. Definitely felt safe here. We will stay here again when we’re in the area. Can’t say enough good things about this place.
