It seems to be relying on large groups that come and stay, and with the exception of someone at the front desk who I believed was named Renato, you could come and go through reception and not be greeted. The staff seemed slightly demoralized. The lighting in the halls and rooms was really terrible. The place has a good structure, but needs some loving investment.」

「I have to say I was somewhat disappointed in the hotel. The location was fairly good. The buffet breakfast was not great but hard to say what I was expecting from Salvador but overall, I give it a five or six out of 10. The seals and all the windows were blown out. The windows were gray and foggy, and the room smelled damp and wet. We had to move one of our guests or fellow travelers room because it was moldy inside.」

「It was a beautiful property but the breakfast was very expensive compared to other properties in the area that provided the same type of breakfast but it was included in the rate. But other than that the staff were great, the location fantastic and the food and wine were very good. Would recommend it.」
