「The hotel was nice clean and staff friendly. The only issue is the pool it is by the restaurant so that made it a no go. The breakfast was ok more vegetarian options need. Overall it was a nice stay」

The neighborhood did not seem safe, and there were no restaurants in close proximity, so a car is needed. Recommend for those not wanting to stay in Port of Spain. 「The Airport Inn is more like a B&B than a hotel. It's quite quaint and pleasant. The hospitality was excellent. We got in after midnight and needed to have milk available for a toddler and they made it happen. The buffet breakfast was quite nice for a complimentary breakfast. And the rooms were spacious and clean. Nothing fancy but it felt very comfortable.」

The room had a refrigerator and we had access to the microwave, toaster, and needed serving instruments in the breakfast area to be able to buy food and have dinner in the hotel rather than have to go out.」

「The property is in the heart of San Juan, but the gps location is not accurate. We were able to call the owner who gave us actual directions to the property. Once we got there, everything improved. The owner contacted you in advance to confirm your stay, so that was nice. I had previously booked the property, and they cancelled it, and raised the rate. If you get to the North Deck and didn't see it, you've just passed it. Look to the right of the North Deck and proceed to the furthest gate to the right. It's a steep climb by vehicle to access. Not for the faint of heart, but well worth it! Spanish is an asset with the onsite attendant, however, the owner speaks English and is only a call away.」
