“The property was everything I was hoping for. It was beautiful, quiet, peaceful. But what we loved most was the amazing and hospitable staff that was so friendly, and eager to make us happy at any time day or night. We really loved the uniqueness of the bungalows and appreciated the natural beauty. We did NOT want to stay in a conventional high-rise hotel - and Ocho was the perfect blend of luxury with natural beauty. Very convenient and could walk to all of the great restaurants!”

“Latica lodge was amazing to stay at! If you’re looking for that community vibe then this should be on the top of your list. Everyone from all over the world staying there, all having breakfast/supper together was spectular. The owners are everyday people willing to help you out with everything they made the stay so enjoyable. “Quiet and relaxing. Attentive owners and staff.”

“Small, cozy, friendly, quiet....we stayed for a month in the jungle of Guanacaste with Gary and his dog, Wally! The pool is wonderfully shady in the afternoons, Gary is a warm and friendly host, helpful and kind. We were looking for someplace near to beaches, great sunsets, and no crowds....meeting the locals, shopping the local markets, etc. This is the perfect spot to just sit back and relax.”

“I stayed at Nakanku Lodge from mid January to mid February 2024 accompanied by my little Maltese dog, Lulu. Everything was wonderful! The tropical garden setting was beautiful. I loved the pool and easy proximity to beaches. The outdoor kitchen was so fun as it generated opportunities for community and conversations with other guests. Gary was a super host! Hope to return next winter! Pura vida!”
