We had only three days there in this large house surrounded by nature on our road trip through Portugal and Galicia, but next time, we will try to stay longer, because there is so much to discover there. This house and the hostess Isabel couldn’t have been more lovely & helpful! The first night we had a little AC trouble and the very next morning it was fixed and two bottles of wine were gifted to us as an apology. “We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful property just outside of Porto. The setting was incredibly peaceful and tranquil — the kind of place that immediately makes you slow down and breathe a little deeper.The house itself was perfect for us, and the kids had the absolute best time exploring and playing. “The house with it's excellent facilities and beautiful garden is lovely: we all enjoyed the time we spent there. We hadn't hired a car as we stayed in Porto at the beginning and end of our holiday and had a wedding in-between. However, a car for a couple of days would have been useful as the local shop, whilst good, did not have all that we required food wise. The restaurant and coffee shop are worth a visit Mario is an excellent host and responded promptly when we contacted him.”

“Comfortable, plenty of space, clean, excellent host. It was a relaxing environment with excellent views, but the pool and games room meant there was plenty to do. We were on a stag do so relaxing have a bbq whilst gearing up for another night out in Porto helped. Also, great for families. ”

“We hebben een hele fijne tijd gehad hier. De locatie was veel beter dan ik had verwacht. We zaten echt in het centrum. 5 minuten lopen en je bent aan de bekende brug. Mooie zonsondergang daar meegemaakt. Heel proper en goed ingericht appartement. Goede airco. Enkel de zolderslaapkamer was vrij warm. Enig minpunt is de faciliteiten om kleding te wassen. Deur van wasmachine is kapot( moesten we openwringen met een vork) en het wasrekje hing half uiteen. ”

We enjoyed the patio courtyard within the VRBO. Communications with the VRBO manager were clear and very timely. Excellent value.”
