Three block walk to beach, private pool, designer home

Our home at 165 Beachcomber Street is a quick two to three block walk (750 paces) from beautiful Crescent beach. We provide a beach cart, beach chairs, cooler and towels for your convenience. Our home features an open floor plan with kitchen, dining area, and living/media room. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a brand new mattress and bedding. It also includes an attached bath, walk-in closet and direct access to lanai. The guest bedrooms, queen and twin, are located on the opposite side of the house and share a freshly renovated bathroom. Our newly constructed pool was added in November of 2014. We have a no smoking and no pet policy. House is installed with high speed wireless internet. Simply step into our home and surround yourself with paradise.

The property did not match the reviews. We stayed for four weeks in February 2026 and were disappointed with the house. It is in need of updates. Lighting is low level wattage, especially in the kitchen. Some fan remotes did not work. Some pavers around the pool wobbled and were tripping hazards. Primary bath shower door would not close. A smoke detector had been removed from one of the bedrooms. We were expecting more based on the description and many years of outstanding reviews.We did enjoy the pool and location. It is an easy walk to the beach. I talked with the owner a couple of times and he was very pleasant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is very comfortable and well-appointed, and relaxing poolside could not be more peaceful. The beach is beautiful and spacious and only a few minutes away. The house is in a great location, just a short drive--and sometimes walk--to our favorite restaurants. We're already planning a return trip.

We had a wonderful stay and the home was perfect for our family. It was clean, neat, and very comfortable, with great beds and a lovely pool that we all enjoyed. One of our favorite features was the use of the bikes—they really made getting around Marco Island fun and easy.The location was ideal, with close proximity to the beach and restaurants. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the owner personally reaching out to check in and make sure everything was okay. That thoughtful touch made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home.

We loved our stay at this property! We had changed our itinerary last minute and found this property. The house was clean, the pool and outside area was clean and a great option for more opportunities. Renting this property allowed us to save money by shopping for groceries to eat at the property for some of our meals. There were plenty of amenities (laundry, dishwasher, bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas, . . .). The beach was a 5 minute walk which was perfect. We will definitely consider staying here again and will for sure recommend it.

We had such a wonderful stay in Marco Island! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, welcoming, and exactly as described (if not better!). The home had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation: comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and plenty of space for our family to unwind.The location was perfect, very close to beaches, restaurants, and little hidden gems around the island. We especially loved Doreens Cup of Joe, the sunset views, wagon, and beach gear provided. It truly felt like a home away from home.Communication with our host was excellent. They are very friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a stress-free stay.We left feeling refreshed and full of happy memories and gorgeous pictures. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect Marco Island, FL getaway!

Great Family Getaway

Went to Marco Island with the family for a quick four-night vacation. The property was in a great location, near the beaches, and central to all we wanted to do (e.g. restaurants, excursions, etc.). The check-in process was simple and the property was ready when we arrived. It was nice having access to a pool and the necessities of going to the beach. Just had to sweep down some spider webs in the pool area when we used it everyday, but nothing that stopped us from enjoying the stay. We would definitely recommend this house for a stay again!

Beautiful, yet comfortable home in the perfect location. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Walking distance to the expansive white sandy beach. Gorgeous sunsets.Walk or ride the bikes provided to near by restaurants, shopping, entertainment. The lanai and sparkling clean pool are exceptional.Ted and Leila have thought of everything you may need for your beach vacation- ample beach towels, beach cart, beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, sand toys and beach reads.Hosts responded to all questions about the area and the property promptly. Provided many excellent suggestions.Was our first visit to Marco Island and this home. Won’t be our last.
