"House was recently renovated, new fixtures and furniture. Kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans and utensils. Host was very responsive to messages and email. Location is convenient to Allegheny national Forest, state parks and Warren has most anything needed. Nice place to stay, not overly fancy and furnished on a budget, but a good experience overall."

"This was our second stay at this lovely house on the river. We had 6 adults plus our dogs, so we were thrilled to find a place to accommodate such a large group. Enjoyed the front porch overlooking the river, which was big enough for all of us to use at once, and made use of the back patio with grill. Many charming antiques throughout the house and a beautiful (and large) hand made dining room table. We brought several kayaks and really enjoyed the river. Everyone in our family, ages 6-88, said this was the perfect vacation. "If you have a large group and want to be able to all stay under one roof but have your own space this is definitely the property for you! The lodge itself is great and the outside area (especially this time of year) is absolutely beautiful. "We loved meeting our adult children for a quick weekend together at this cute yellow brick house. The code was super easy, the host responded to my texts immediately, he made everything easy. I almost didn’t book this house because I thought the beds looked uncomfortable in the pictures, but they were actually VERY comfortable for everyone! "The property was exactly as described in the listing, immaculately clean, quite comfortable, and perfect for my needs. It was a place for me and a friend to stay over the Easter weekend, but would be an ideal setting for a family gathering, hunting camp, or just a pleasant getaway from busy city life. "We rented this lovely house in Warren so that we could be close Jake's Rocks on the weekend and close to Erie on the day of the total solar eclipse. The house has sizable kitchen and was a great place to cook good food and enjoy time with friends before moving on to Erie to catch the solar eclipse. I'm very glad we found this place and we would visit again."

"The bears den was a nice quiet getaway for me and my wife to celebrate our anniversary. She chose this time of year because of the fall leaves and the Allegheny national Forest was full of awesome autumn sights. The property is a repurposed restaurant and each unit has a unique theme. We loved the decor and the privacy. The river is short walk from the front door. We would stay again for sure. "
